Gentrify

I just completed a major renovation on my home with Gentrify and cannot recommend Chris and his team highly enough. The effort that Chris put in to ensure that every detail was perfect, including throwing an additional ensuite at him part way through, has led to a finished product well beyond what I was even hoping for. Everyone who has been through the place since completion is amazed at the transformation and the quality of workmanship throughout and I have no doubt that this has also translated in to added value well beyond the money spent. If you are considering a project of any type, do yourself a favour and talk to the Gentrify team.Kieran

We had the pleasure of working with Chris and the Gentrify team for our 7 star energy sustainable custom build in Highton. We were complete amateurs in the design and build process but Chris and the team worked patiently with us, explained options and answered all our questions to ensure that we understood the process. Above all, he delivered our dream home! We could not be happier with the result and the whole experience - can't wait to build with them again one day! If you want to build a house that becomes a home with a builder who becomes a friend and fierce advocate for you realising your dreams then look no further. The build process was flawless and the quality and workmanship is exceptional. The tradies are friendly and pedantic about the quality of their work and the quality of the product they deliver. It was a real pleasure from start to finish. 11/10 :)

Chris from Gentrify is a very friendly seemingly approachable personality, we were really looking forward to putting business through him. However their process very quickly becomes disconnected unpleasant. You are handed to someone else then told to fill out a form, without knowing what a build would cost or being able to discuss in person you have to guess a range, and if you do not meet that unknown range you will not be contacted by Gentrify. You will need to follow them up where they will tell you they are not interested in your business. I felt this was very poor experience where as a discussion would have revealed much better results for both parties. I hope they can pivot away from this type of approach.EDIT after Reply: I am not going to argue with you online, you have missed some facts in this and in the timeline, the fact you want to argue with someone who had a bad experience just shows that you Paul need some more training in your role and how to treat potential customers. You might need to re work your website to note that the customer is not important, unless they complain, then they will be contacted a lot. I had considered removing this review, but you have solidified it by your constant attempts to make excuses rather than that the feedback onboard almost as if you are now trying to bully me to remove a negative review. Very very unprofessional. This is not doing better or learning.

Chris and his team recently completed a two storey unit out the back of our house. We're thrilled with the result! Chris and his team are very professional and courteous which made a big difference to us as the work was sometimes complex and involved keeping our many neighbours happy throughout the process. Paul and Chris, along with their team, represent the difference between good builders, and outstanding builders. I can't recommend their services enough. Their passion, commitment to excellence, client focus and timeliness (from quote to build complete) are absolutely to be commended. The quality of designs, fixtures, build and service are incredible. Finding a builder is a daunting task and I feel very lucky to have met Chris Hunger, he and his team renovated and extended my house in Geelong West. Both myself and many others have been very impressed by the extremely high standard of finish by all his tradesmen, which I think is exacted by Chris’s own extremely high expectations. From the behaviour of his tradesmen on site to the professional service offered by his admin team, I was impressed with all aspects of Chris Hunger and the Gentrify operation. If you are able to secure their services, I would highly recommend them to anyone.
