My wife and I made the terrible mistake of using Littleton Hackford Solicitors for the conveyancing for our property. We were devastated to find out after-the-event that our Contract of Sale was varied without our knowledge or authority. When questioned, Littleton Hackford denied all responsibility and failed to address our complaint. My wife and I feel the lack of professionalism, integrity and courtesy displayed by Littleton Hackford was reprehensible. We trusted Littleton Hackford to conduct our conveyancing and they failed to protect our interests resulting in considerable distress and additional costs. As a result of our complete loss of trust in Littleton Hackford, we had no choice but to terminate their services and engage another conveyancer to progress the settlement of our property.

This is the 3rd time my partner and I have purchased and sold through littleton hackford's conveyancing department now... Always top notch service and without any issues. I've been told that it's better to go through a solicitor for your conveyancing needs because if there are ever any major problems they are already familiar with all the details of your sale/purchase and have the legal know how and experience to resolve them in-house, where as pure conveyancing firms need to refer big issues to solicitors anyway.
