We had been considering what to do as we are approaching the age where we need to consolidate our finances and prepare for retirement. We attended our first meeting with Pillar quite hesitantly as we were expecting a hard sell. And it may have been.... but it also was the kick start we needed to stop talking about investments and start investing again.The service has been exceptional with all departments going out of their way to help and reply to queries on the same day.The client liaison gives regular updates on building progress and assists when we are not sure who we should be contacting.They provide the entire package for you, but are flexible enough to understand that you may wish to use your own property managers and still provide you with the necessary information to assist with this.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking at investment properties and self managed super funds.

I wish I started my journey with Pillar earlier! The team have helped me get my finances and super in order, and I now have a wealth portfolio I'm building. I have always wanted to understand how to improve my financial position and get on top of my bad debts but this was put on the back burner due to my lack of understanding. I had an in home consultation with Pillar, it went well but they asked me to pay on the spot. I was a little sceptical, but wanted the info so I went for the session. Very happy I did, the consultants were really helpful and knowledgable. I can see now why they require at least some commitment. Recommend them to young or old looking to build wealth

They led me to believe that doing a tax variation would be straight forward where I would pay my income tax at the end of the financial year. The ATO rejected it and I am still paying the same tax. The property I bought is poorly managed by their recommended property management group BFG Asset Management who are poor at communication which has cost me money. If I had my time again I would not go with either of them. The only positive thing is that the property is in Melbourne which will hopefully provide a good return when the market picks up.
