Leonda By The Yarra

Excellent location. Perfect event management. The Indian cuisine at a wedding was better than some known Indian eat outs in Melbourne.

Had my wedding at Leonda on 12/03/22 and the whole experience was magical. From the moment I walked through the venue I was completely wowed and it was immediately number one on my list of venues. The date I wanted was already on hold so I waited and hoped for the best, luckily the other couple didn't go ahead and we got the spot. The cost pp is a little higher than other venues but it included so much and all I needed to do was hiring Abracadabra to put some additional touches to make the whole place more glam. The view of the Yarra river outside the large windows was the main point and it really wowed my guests. The civil ceremony done under a big tree at the park was beautiful and I got very nice photos there. I got to leave on the boat at the end of the night and everyone said that was very unique. I did not get to taste most of the food since I was too busy running around to greet guests but heard very positive feedbacks from guests complimenting the in-house Asian food that we had. Highly recommend Leonda!!!

We were married in the Garden Room almost a month ago and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went! First, Abbey was the best person to work with – easygoing and professional from the start, and made us feel stress free and that everything will be perfect, and our day absolutely was. Couldn't ask for a better person to work with. All our expectations were met and the food was AMAZING . Everyone had such a fun night and went home full and couldn't eat the next day! Went here to attend a wedding. Absolutely great location. Bar staff were super friendly and all the service staff did a wonderful job.I believe the table decorations were done by an external company. But everything was great. Had plenty of parking. Would highly recommend for any function

Leonda by the Yarra was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our guests particularly from interstate and overseas loved the views overlooking the Yarra. The team at Leonda have been nothing but accommodating from the day we inspected the venue, to the day we picked up leftover items from the wedding. Fantastic venue that I would 100% recommend for any wedding. The venue is so beautifully set up that it really doesn’t require any additional decorations. Coordinated nearly every aspect of the event for us so that we didn’t have to, from the vendors to the setting up, to dealing with presents and left over belongings after. Everybody loved the food as well as how well dietary requirements were catered for. On the actual night service was simply immaculate and seamless. When it was all over we received beautifully packed leftovers and a thoughtful gift. For a stress-free wedding I would definitively recommend Leonda.

Beautiful and modern function rooms overlooking the Yarra River.Service from staff was impeccable.Attended a wedding here, and found the venue stunning and bar well stocked with a wide variety of spirits.The food, on the other hand, was very ordinary and i felt very rushed. People on the table that had the chicken all complained how dry it was.I am sure you guys charge over $200 per person that meal was not worth even $20.Would i recommend it. I personally would not book a wedding there if the food is the same.

We had our wedding reception at Leonda last month and it was the most perfect night! Kendall was fantastic at liaising with us in the lead up to the big day and Chris and the team on the night were so professional and caring to not only the bridal party, but all guests. We highly recommend Leonda as we chose them for our wedding having attended other weddings in the past and the service, food and location are second to none!

Having our wedding at the beautiful and classic Leonda by the Yarra was one of the best decisions we made! From the start when we were given a tour by Melanie, to working with our amazing coordinator Maria, all the way to the day of our wedding where everything went smoothly - we enjoyed every single part of planning and having our wedding here! The staff at Leonda are so lovely to work with and are just so responsive and friendly. A huge thank you goes out to our amazing coordinator Maria who made our lives 100x easier - we could t have done it without you!

Attended my partners sister wedding. Absolutely breathtaking location, the staff were friendly and the overall atmosphere of the place was superb - highly recommend for any function.
