NRMA Car Batteries

My car was parked at the local shopping centre when it did not start.Calling NRMA roadside assistance I was told there would be up to a 90-minute wait, which was disappointing. However, given it was Christmas holidays and the situation with COVID I understood that NRMA staff shortages were a fact of life.So I was all the more pleasantly surprised when the patrolman arrived within just half an hour.He diagnosed the battery and sought my approval to replace it. He was very clear about how long it would take and how much it would cost.He then replaced the battery making sure that the electricity to the car was not interrupted as that could have potentially locked out the audio and security systems of the car.After installation, the patrolman tested the battery was working properly and being charged by the alternator.Then, to my delight, the patrolman asked whether I would like him to check the oil level. He did and recommended that I book a service soon as the oil was low and old looking.I thanked him and started to leave when I saw him then talk to the driver of another car in the carpark, pointing out to them that their front tyre was low on air.What a helpful man with a brilliant customer service attitude. An exemplar in my opinion.

Whilst travelling we unfortunately left our parker lights on so of course flat battery in the morning. Had to keep appointments so contacted NRMA and the serviceman, Chris arrived within 40 minutes, all time keeping us informed of his expected time of arrival and promptly re-charged our battery and we were able to arrive at our appointments with little stress involved. Have been a member of NRMA Roadside Service for approximately 45 years and glad to have peace of mind when something goes wrong.

The NRMA mechanic cleaned my terminals, checked the engine oil while getting ready, had a look at the breaks and did a sterling job installing the battery. Absolute champion!

Battery failed and I knew nrma will come to your home to replace, and at competitive rates. I. Allied them and the switch was done at my home within the hour. The nrma person also checked it wasn’t anything else that was a problem. Easy process, right price.

I had a flat battery and car was in garage. Rang NRMA roadside assist. Call was answered promptly. Given a time to expect when roadside assistance would arrive. The technician was very polite, courteous and friendly. As an oldie he didn't make me feel like I was a problem.

Although close to home, the car could not be started. I tested the lights and they were very dim. The NRMA arrived at the scene in very quick time and the problem was identified and rectified. The efficient, helpful and friendly nature of the attending mechanic was very reassuring.

NRMA replied to my call regarding a flat battery, the van arrived promptly about 15 minutes a local, my car was started, we discussed the price for a battery however there was no hard sell which I appreciated. Thank you to the Service technician.
