Lou Lou's Cattery and Small Animal Boarding Pty Ltd

Greeted at the door and then carefully shown through to the small animal boarding area.The animals are so well cared for a looked after it’s almost like they’re all a part of the family.This is our first time here and we’re booked again at the end of April 2022.We had started our bunny here but may eventually move our cat as well when needed as it’ll be more convenient.

My cat had a very poor experience here. I advised the owner Jess with the red frizzy hair that my cat is very shy and quiet around strangers, and she reassured me they would look after him. During the 4 days there, I did not receive one update about him. After emailing Jess, she said they are doing their best. There was no detail provided, no photos, nothing. My kids and I were worried as he is a treasured pet and he tends to not eat when he’s away from home. When we picked him up, he smelt of urine and his feet were soaked, to the point that I had to bathe him. Jess scolded me for him making a mess and going outside the litter box. She was very unpleasant, cold and unsympathetic. My poor cat cried all night after getting home and was so clingy- he never displayed this behaviour before after coming back from other catteries. He was traumatised!

Very happy that we chose LouLous to take care of our little bunny Nola for 3 days. Booking with them was easy and straightforward, and I appreciated the email reminders about the booking on the lead up to the dropping off date. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times which was amazing!The cost was worth it, knowing that our rabbit will be getting quality hay, oxbow pellets and a clean and safe space to stay in! When we picked her up the staff were very friendly and professional— they took the time to discuss how Nola was whilst staying with them. They also had a very clean space (almost sterile but not hospital-sterile smell), had hand sanis and disinfectant sprays, which we were most happy about! Will recommend Loulous to all our bun/parent friend, and will definitely be our go-to boarding for our little bun.

I boarded our two Burmese kittens with Lou-Lou's cattery for a fortnight in March/April and would recommend it without reservation. It is clean, warm and spacious and the care that my pets received was unsurpassed. It appears that they particularly enjoyed the play space that they spent time in every day; when we arrived to pick them up, they were more interested in continuing to climb and jump than actually coming home!Jess' professionalism, love of animals and desire to provide a premium quality service is evident in every facet of her business.

Absolutely fantastic service! Our bunny was well looked after, and came home very happy and healthy. The prices are incredibly competitive compared to other animal boarding places, as well. Would highly recommend for anyone with small animals.

Our rabbit stayed recently at Lou Lou’s and was well looked after from the moment he was checked in! We have no doubt that he was happy during his stay. The cages are clean, hay always available and play time scheduled! This is also the 1st cattery I’ve been to that does NOT smell (even in the slightest). The team is wonderful and genuinely cares about all the pets in their care. We will definitely use Lou Lou’s again. Highly recommend!

I can’t rate this cattery any higher. We leave our cat Frankie at Lou Lou’s all the time and we feel more than comfortable doing so. The owner Jess is so great to deal with, you can see she really cares for animals and really looks after them when you are away. She always manages to fit us in. My cat Frankie always smells lovely when returned back to us. I know he is in safe hands when we drop him off. Please do yourself a favour and give this cattery a go!

My two cats were extremely well cared for and were happy and relaxed when we picked them up a week later. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the animals, as well as keeping their cages and all rooms spotlessly clean. Thank you so much for looking after them. I highly recommend Lou Lou's Cattery!

Not sure what they did to my rabbit, but he smells amazing now. 5/5 stars, would bring him back without hesitation.
