Below is my experience in 2019 and I highly recommend Jack's service to EVERYONE!Jack approaches design from a human/user experience perspective and shows my family that architecture is there to serve and enhance our life. This was obvious from our initial engagement. Jack listens, asked in-depth and relevant questions about our lifestyle and concerns with our apartment without judgement. He patiently addressed challenging issues, constraints and was able to communicate design concepts in every day, easy to understand language throughout the process in different methodologies. For example, Jack described his design via a meeting with me and translated his design concept to Chinese for my parents after he realised my parents didn't fully understand the design. This personable process puts our whole family at ease.Jack's design practice is an outcome, not output, focused. After the initial design concept and based on my family's circumstances at the time, Jack realised the best design outcome for my family wasn't the complicated renovation I initially envisioned. He then kindly spent his time to talk me through his observation and logic, even though it's not the best financial outcome for his business and my family was happy to continue with his service.
