Fantastic ~ good simple food done well. We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking. Wow were we impressed. Beautiful restaurant rustic & elegant. Dinner was superb. We will absolutely be back. If you like Italian style food this is a 10/10 for us. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding at Ben Ean as we love the food at Baume. We couldnt have been happier on the day. Food was great..staff were great. Courtyard room while not that magical in the day become magical at night with the lighting and candles. Thoroughly recommend it for an evening function.

I did my very first live wedding painting at the fig tree in 2021 and it was the most incredible experience! I painted the couple's walk back down the aisle with their dog. The entire day went perfectly, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue to paint!

And that's just the beginning!For the reception, the Laraghy room can seat up to 150 guests, but if you're inviting more people than the cast of Game of Thrones, the courtyard can accommodate up to 400 seated or 600 standing. Your guests will be well-fed and well-watered with delicious food (same chefs as the well-known Baume restaurant) and wine from the winery's own range of wines.There are several accommodation options near Ben Ean Winery, making it easy for guests to find a place to stay.Overall, I love Ben Ean Winery because it offers a beautiful and versatile setting for couples.

WOW!!!!First time ever to this amazing winery today for an amazing birthday lunch, for such a beautiful person. The restaurant is 10/10 top service, friendly amazing staff. The food is bloody awesome, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this wonderful place. The meals are to die for.

Had the most amazing meals for lunch at Baumé restaurant! Large meals mean they can be shared(although you may not want to it's so delicious). Most definitely a must while in the Hunter! Beef Brisket was nothing but perfect.

Did the olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting and was lovely, friendly guy who explained things to us. There is cheese tasting which i think is free too.The wine cellar looks beautiful tooThe restaurant food was quite yummy but on the pricey side. Mains about 40 bucks, starters 16 to 20.However the restaurant service was just soso. Was told to come back in half an hour because the cooks were too busy. Took a while for the order to come when we were served even though it was almost 2pm. Then had to go up to the counter myself to ask for water and for our dessert because the waiters were hard to get the attention of. This was at 2.30 and there were not many guests.

Wine tasting here was a great experience. The host Micheal was one of the wine makers and very knowledgable. The set out created a very nice atmosphere for tasting. You had a choice of at the bar or a table setting. For me ( a red drinker) all the wines were fantastic and I ended up buying several.

Generous servings at amazing prices !We had the lamb shoulder, Nashi pear salad and roast pumpkin.Finished off dinner with a martini tiramisu.We ended up taking half of what we ordered to go - not kidding about the generous servings.Would highly recommend if you're looking for great value feed in the Hunter Valley
