Burra Railway Station Bed & Breakfast

It was cold out side but with the fire crackling the warmth and tranquility was perfect.We were welcomed with fresh fruit, bread, milk and juice, cereal and every type of tea you can imaginethe bed was warm and cozy, fully functional kitchen and a gorjus shower..we will be back to relax and rekindle xxx thanks for the perfect gettaway

Great value, fantastic history, beautifully restored but with modern comforts, in a great location from which it is easy to explore the fascinating history of Burra. Just wish we had stayed longer and spent longer in town.

Didn't stay here but visited the station and information centre. Friendly and helpful. Interesting displays. Looking forward to next visit with new tearoom in old carriage. I was here 2019.

Worth a look if you like the mining and railway history. Nicely restored although we've not experienced the B&B

What a beautiful place to stay. Home away from home so tastefully decorated with quality in mind. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for. The fire was a blessing. A taste of yesteryear with a fascinating history.Heating is limited in colder months as the only draw back..You can wander through the museum anytime.Train buffs must do.

This wonderful B&B was highly recommended by friends in the B&B industry and it didn’t disappoint. The building is beautifully restored and the B&B (5 rooms) are all wonderful and generous in size with beautiful furnishings. The Queen size bed was as comfortable as being home. Siting by the log-fire at night was wonderful while reading (didn’t switch the TV on once). We checked in on the actual day of the 150th birthday of the building (by chance) and met several of the wonderful volunteers who were there celebrating the 150th with drinks & nibbles. We highly recommend this superb B&B to any couple.

Great place to stay. Lots of history in this lovely old railway station with all the modern amenities needed.
