Donut King Singleton

Really going downhill fast. Can't get orders correct, ran out of hot donuts, and the flies don't help

If I could give 0 stars I would. Arrived at 3:34pm and closing time is 4pm. Was rudely told by staff too bad so sad and they don’t take orders from 3:30pm and go home at 4pm.As a small business owner. When I say my operating hours are from 8am-4pm I operate all the way until 4pm.And to top it off as I’m writing this review I have witnessed the staff make a drink for one of his friends.Poor service. Will take my family and my money elsewhere.

Update: (19/3/23) Avoid like the plague. Apart from the lack of staffing, it takes forever to get your order, it's apparent that there is no order line and anyone can just walk up and get served even if you have been standing there waitingNow, let's talk about prices... $30 for 2 plain hotdogs and 2 small milkshakes is obscene. I get it that inflation is taking its toll and they cater to coal miner's wives and their seemingly limitless supply of their husband's cash for their coffees, but $15 for a milkshake and a hotdog... Really?Unsure of this price, I questioned it and the staff member rang the price up again and sure enough, it was $30. I waited, on my only sunday off in forever, with my kids who had been hanging out all week for Sunday lunch with dad to not only have people push in on us, then being told to wait after the push-ins were served straight away, only to be confronted by that pricing.Thank god there are other places to eat here that are not priced at the level that this place is. I will be voting with my wallet and won't ever be back. I sincerely hope that this outlet goes the way of another established cafe did that was next to them.Previous review below--------------------------About what you would expect from a Donut King. Plenty of variety on offer. Pretty quick service. It loses one star because everytime I get one of their hotdogs, there is a ration or shortage of tomato sauce. It's like they just wave the hotdog past the tomato sauce dispenser just to get the smell of sauce on the dog.

My little boy absolutely loves the fresh donuts from here, ive got to say im a bit of a fan as well. The milk shakes here are pretty bloody good too.

I love when the dude is on working at donut king as he always put effort into a good coffee. The younger females who are usually there aren't so great at coffee could use more training on coffee making.

Hubby had a honey comb thickshake which he said was delicious and I had an iced coffee thickshake which was really good. The party pies tasted great very nice flavour, customer service by the young Indian man was outstanding the only issue we had was there were a lot of flies constantly landing on our legs feet and arms and flying around our faces ......very annoying

Great staff always friendly and makes the visit easy with children... best coffee... owner treats staff with respect and it shows... just need to work on the amount of flies that hang around the tables when trying to have coffee and donut... but other wise well done

Good food coffee and service.
