Brass Monkeys Cafe
I was hoping this place could be a regular spot for me being new to the area, and I really dont like to complain, but I had a very dissappointing experience today. I was not able to eat what was provided. The menu was not specific about the dish and when I indicated this, I was ignored. The manager was not apologetic, not concerned about me having a positive experience, or being a returning customer, didnt offer any alternatives to make up for it; Merely argued that they didnt do anything wrong and that they couldnt afford to refund when requested. Seemed to care more about the money. I sat there feeling hungry and undervalued. In my experience in hospitality, you look after your customers. However I got the impression the priorities were all wrong here. Such a shame. This place will not be a recommendation for my friends and family.

Brass Monkeys Cafe
We have probably had one of the most expensive breakfasts today at $29 each for the Brass Monkey Breakfast which was nice. A big plate of food, but a fairly high price so one would expect more. Food was well prepared one of the best Mochas I have had in Adelaide,venue was clean neat and tidy. Staff where friendly and background music was tasteful. All in all and good experience and can highly recommend it!! Thanks guys.

Fantastic Coffee & great food.Tofu Bowl sounded too healthy to taste good but it was absolutely brilliant.Great service too. Cheers!

Brass Monkeys Cafe
Cold brew coffee was pretty and unique but the maple syrup detracted too much from the coffee flavour, 5/10. Duck takos 8/10 tender, complex, salty a bit sweet... would be 10/10 if there was a bit less salt n more tender duck. Dumpling 7/10. sauce a bit too sour. Katsu 9/10 perfect apart from a little bit lacking in salad but it would be hard to eat otherwise.

Great atmosphere, very friendly and prompt service, and really nice food at a good price for the quality and unique Asian fusion style. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Wow…. So excited that we’ve just discovered our new favourite spot in Blackwood! Had 3 of us for breakfast on a Sunday, and was able to book with a phone call. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating when we arrived (we booked for 2, but had gained a child!).The food…. Delicious! And the serving sizes are BIG. Everything was cooked the way we asked and the flavours were fantastic. Coffee was also great (love that they use Alternative Dairy Co. oat milk). Prices are what they should be for a quality meal/coffee…. Pictured is their veggie breakfast. Definitely worthy of 5 stars.

Brass Monkeys Cafe
On the weekend I went to Brass Monkey, Blackwood for the first time with my daughter, who has certain dietary requirements. Unfortunately the rather expensive menu was not specific and when she indicated that there was an issue, there was no empathy and no other alternative was offered. Our quality time was consumed by the negative experience. I observed ignoring behaviour by the manager and no consideration for any distress that was experienced. I will not be recommending this cafe to any of my family or friends.

Amazing breakfast!I've had a few things from the menu now and every dish has been a solid 10/10.Great coffee, healthy smoothies, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff.I absolutely recommend Brass Monkeys Cafe as one of the best cafe's around Adelaide all day long!

Brass Monkeys Cafe
Beautiful staff and owners and the food is absolutely delicious! Tried the chicken with rice (takeaway) yesterday which was to die for. They go above and beyond to make sure you are welcomed and happy. I am now a regular customer - the coffees are also one of the best I've ever had :) Thanks so much guys!
