If you only want shirts washed and pressed or drycleaning of a regular garment only superficially dirty, then this cleaner is adequate.However, their prices are in line with much better dry cleaners in the eastern suburbs.My problem is with their inability to lift even basic marks from a silk shirt. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt 4 times now. They won’t reclean the items ... they say there’s no point as the marks cannot be removed. Was this true? No. After having items returned poorly cleaned, I hand washed one silk item and the spots disappeared without any effort. Two other items I used murlex on at home and it removed the marks. Murlex is a dry cleaning fluid you can buy from hardware stores or online. The last item I picked up still had multiple small marks in the front of the gold silk/satin top. Once again the management told me the marks were unable to be removed. So I took it to blue and white drycleaners at neutral bay. I paid the same price and the top is perfect. Just no comparison.This drycleaner even acknowledged that blue and white would probably be able to get the marks out as “they are professional”. That would quite correctly infer that Newland Street drycleaners aren’t professional.

Had dresses dry-cleaned and they actually put marks on, attempted three times to remove (1st and 2nd attempt forgot and had to come back twice) ended up permanently staining and still wanted to charge, didn't compensate will never go there again.

Horrible dry cleaners, white shirts come out dirty brown, take it to natural light dont get fooled by their UV lights in the shop.They must have used harsh chemicals and ruined the shirts. I had a favourite fine egyptian cotton shirt and after this dry cleaner i have to throw it away the cuffs are torn.Such a waste of time.Never use them if you want something done with any sense of quality.
