We just had our daughter's 21st birthday cake made here - she also had her 1st birthday cake here, and together with our other 4 children, grandparents, sibling's wedding cakes.....we've never once been disappointed! If you're looking for a cake that not only looks great with attention to details, but also has a delicious, moist, sweet (but not too sweet), flavourful taste - then I highly recommend La Torre. They brought our vision vision to life beautifully and personally, at a fair price. Great, experienced staff who know their products, and make the whole experience so easy. I write a recent experience I had when my daughter ordered online a birthday cake for her son’s 10 birthday. I gave credit to the Pokémon design; it was looking nice.But the cake itself was disappointing especially for my grandson who is the celebrant; as it taste grainy and soggy. I raised this issue with the management before writing this review. They argued it’s an original South American flavour that they bragged about ; which I think for us is not acceptable. Was it all about difference in taste preferences, maybe.None of us finished the cake slice, not to mention one of our family member at the party is also a South American . He didn’t like it either. I hope we were the only dissatisfied customers.

Ordered and picked up a Postre Chaja for 50 people for my daughter’s pre wedding dinner. The meringue cake was outstandingly delicious and there was none left even though we didn’t have 50 people invited. The cake was praised by all guests and I am a very happy customer. Thank you to all the team at La Torre you made our night awesome.

I tried the Cañitos (dulce de leche), and I love them. Best I've ever tried. Also, the amazing range of facturas and cakes that are made with such great detail in flavours and decorations. It's definitely one of the best cake shops around. must visit.

This isn’t the first time I have bought cake from them and everytime I’ve had a problem with the cakes, the cake was once rotten and had mould in it, we didn’t say anything. I bought this cake around 1pm yesterday, once I got home I put it straight in the fridge so it could be good until 5pm, I took out the Cake and cut it so everyone could eat, everyone told us it didn’t taste right until we tasted the cake ourselves and it tasted like the cake was out of date. We have the cake if you would like to taste it.

I can’t believe they were able to do this wonderful cake for 50 people within a short time frame. Thanks so much! It was delicious, had milk caramel with fruit and cream. It was a hit.
