Horsley Furniture Transport

Initially we were skeptical when we received the best quote for an interstate move from QLD to NSW by a small transport company from Victoria. The quote was too good, the pickup and dellivery dates were extremely flexible (move in over the weekend on Australia Day!) so we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed.Carter, his father John and their employee Josh were very nice and the move felt more like a weekend adventure between friends. John was packing all our stuff very carefully in an amazing speed. Everything was carefully wrapped. Everything (except for a cheap picture frame) survived the bumpy trip - we could hardly believe it.All three have a very positive nature, are very polite and (as in previous reviews) well spoken.Beware though if you encounter difficulties with moving furniture in and out through a house when it doesn't fit. They cannot dismantle anything as they would be liable if they broke something by doing so.So either be a bit handy with tools or make sure that there is no bad surprises with small doors or the like. (For instance the place we moved in had a non-standard small entrance door, and I had to remove the fridge doors in order to get the fridge in).If we had to move again, we would try to grab them again.Cheers Carter, John and Josh!

Wouldn't deliver my goods until I paid $4,500 and only delivered half my belongings from Kurrajong to Ballarat, would never recommend this company. Huge problem and impossible to deal with in trying to resolve issues

Horrible experience with this company, although he was fully informed about our move and size of the job, he was rude, threatening made me feel unsafe, didn't complete our move fully as was far too tried.Spoke to his assistant in a derogatory manner that was very uncomfortable and unnecessary !

Just used Cater and John for our Move from Port Macquarie NSW to Melbourne.Stored our goods for 2 weeks and delivered on time.They were just outstanding. Best price straight up.Not one item marked our Damaged including our 5 TVS.Dont waste time with the others.Just contact Carter.It will be the best move you make.

NEVER US THIS COMPANY. Carter is a bully and decided a half way through a job he was too tired and didnt want to complete it but demand the full money to deliver half the goods. My husband offered to help with bring things up the drive way but he was so rude he wouldnt even accept help. We are taking him to court over this matter.

I am deeply saddened by the way Carter Horsley treated my friend. He was belligerent, disrespectful and even threatening in his behaviour. Unfortunately I had recommended him but will never do this again. Do not use this company.
