Had accident rang 7.30 am message said phone during business hours

Without a doubt the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with.After 17 years with them I recently made my first claim after being rear ended on my motorcycle (so I was not at fault) and it has been a long and painful process.On the day of my accident I was on hold for 45 minutes and then disconnected on the strike of 5pm when their office closed. Despite leaving a call back message I was not called back.Ever since then, trying to get information from them has been like getting blood out of a stone.After several emails to my claims advisor over the last week were not responded to I decided to call their “office”. On the first call I spoke to someone who couldn’t help me who connected me to someone else who couldn’t help me who was going to refer me to someone else but connected me to the main call menu instead. After enduring their various statements (including their 100% commitment to providing quality service) I was then out on hold for another 10 minutes where I spoke again to the first person I had spoken to. She still couldn’t help me so I was out on hold again. After 15 minutes my call was disconnected.So I rang again! (Had to listen to the 3 minutes of messages again before being on hold for another 15 minutes. Finally connected to someone who could actually help me. Apparently the payment has been approved but no one bothered to let me know.I’ll definitely be changing insurers once this matter is finally resolved.

Shua was friendly and considerate on the phone she quickly updated my address and bank details while helping me upgrade to a better car insurance policy that suits me currently. Would recommend her to everyone

This company is only has 1 repairer on the Sunshine Coast!If you have damages to your car you will wait months for repairs, unless your willing to find your own repairer and pay them upfront for the damages to be fixed, if QBE accepts the quote you they will pay you back, if not your out of pocket with no recourse.The customer service is terrible, the claims process takes days of calling with hours of waiting on hold.I would not only not recommend people to join ANZ/QBE insurance, I will actively tell people to choose ANYONE else before usung this company.

Worst company. I would not pick this company for coverage. If you do, read all paperwork carefully. Even if you don’t accept your claim as it’s not worth the money you will still be put as you made a claim. This is nothing but poor service and a company happy to take your money.

I've been on the phone for 45 minutes now and I've spoken to 6 different people. Can't get an answer from these clowns. Hopeless.
