City Beach

Best beach to visit near the city to watch mesmerising sunset and beautiful waves. Give yourself sometime to dive inside, be like a sea, waves on the surface but calm deep down inside.

Waves were pretty moderate and the beach wasn't too crowded. Restaurants nearby with good food. ☺️

City Beach is a very popular Perth beach for a reason. Ample parking, both sides of Challenger Parade.Good surf beach, eateries, showers and toilets, picnic tables (although limited), seating(some park benches) on the lawn, some shades under the trees and plenty of white sand and clear waters.

Less crowded than Cottesloe beach, also a great place to watch sunset

One of the best beaches in Perth . Easily accessible and full of amenities . Cafes to pick from. Great walks up and down the coast , either on the beach or along the cemented beach walk. Life guards where you need them. Great for swimming and surfing and sunbaking! Also a lot of grassed areas if you want to stay off the beach and have a picnic. Parking is plentiful. A regular beach we have been visiting for many years.

Whenever in need of a beautiful seaside backdrop, City Beach, next to Odyssea is my go to beach for photoshoots. The architecture in the area is stunning. The sand leading to the water is clean, powdery and vastly expansive as it continues across the coastline for miles. City Beach it wildly popular, due to several restaurants nearby, plus some of the most stunning sun sets Perth has to offer, but the space is always ample to allow for creative activities.

Great to relax, get coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. View and sunsets that never fail
