Queechy motel
What a horrible experience, Queechy motel gave me and my kids. To start with, they were not welcoming at all, unlike all other accomodations in Tasmania.Disgraceful owner, who don’t know any social manner, no manners to talk to people.

If you want to know how to run a motel see this place!! Check in was a breeze, room - clean and comfortable (book the spa room!). Steve and Heather were super friendly, giving us recommendations for dinner, which didn’t disappoint. The “in room” booklet is like a guests bible and this was, everything was explained and easily set out. All up 12/10. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Wonderful service from the first contact at reception. Loads of information about what to do and food options (for fabulous fish and chips!). The unit was spacious, clean and had everything we needed (or wanted). Comfortable beds. Access to a washing machine was appreciated. Great base from which to explore the area. We’d stay again if visiting the area.

If not brand new, then one of the most comfortable and well appointed places we have stayed at in Tassie. Perfect first stop after getting off the boat. Would strongly recommend, we'll be back again.

Great little apartment, very comfortable and clean. Great views too.Laundry was very handy. Netflix was great in the evenings.We loved it and will definitely be staying here again when we visit st helens

Excellent experience. Very clean. Steve & Heather are friendly, accommodating & made us feel so welcome. Gave us a late evening tour which included seeing a rare white wallaby. Thank you both, your life stories & hospitality made us feel so at home. What an incredible life you’ve made in this beautiful little town, & I’m so glad we booked in with you. I wish we stayed longer! Apartment 22 has a remarkable history (as does the whole property). A gem we found by mistake. Yes a gem Steve.. we remember your personal stories of gems! Love love! Very nice place in St Helens. Clean, well equipped rooms and very friendly and helpful owners. Short walking distance from town centre or the waterfront. Wish we could stay more than a night here.It's right next to the award winning French restaurant called Furneaux which is an extra bonus.

Queechy motel
We stayed at the Queechy motel on our recent trip to Tasmania and would highly recommend it. The room, with a comfortable lounge area downstairs and roomy bedroom upstairs was very nice, stocked with tea, coffee etc but with fresh milk! (not the usual tiny longlife) With parking right out front it was easy to unload our luggage and there is a nice view over the bay. As we had been travelling for a week it was great to have the complimentary use of the laundry. We also enjoyed being able to walk the short distance into town for dinner, part of the way along a bridge by the water. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Queechy motel
This is a little gem in St Helens. Spotless rooms and very comfortable. Perfect location. The owners were fantastic and happy to speak to residents with lovely ideas and suggestions. They even bought me a beer at the local pub. Thank you Heather and will definitely see you again if we ever pass through again.
