In Canberra for a couple of days so tried out this place. Was pumping for a Monday night, enjoyed some sashimi starters then went for the Sesame Black Ramen. Was good, nice broth, lots of chewy noodles and the Chashu was on point. Egg was just right for me too. It's got a variety of styles so probably not 'authentic' Japanese but it all tasted really good. — eating dinner at WHITE CHACO.

We loved our dining experience at White Chaco. The food and service were exceptional. It is always recommended to make a booking in advance as the restaurant can get very busy.

White Chaco does not just offer exceptional food. The thing that impresses me the most about this place is the passion they have and have always managed to convey through each dish from day 1. They understand what great food is, and with their innovative ideas, they never fail me each time I eat there. Fresh ingredients, no compromise on their quality of food and customer service even during peak COVID shutdown period, very reasonable price for the great quality food you get, all these things make White Chaco one of the best restaurants in Canberra. It’s a hidden gem, without a doubt.

As a Sydney resident, it is safe to say that not even the most expensive fine dining Asian Fusion restaurant in Sydney will ever come close to the quality and culinary experience of White Chaco.Just like it’s been said in previous reviews, the food is rich in flavor and customer service is beyond expectations. Amazing is a word that falls short for this place, but for the sake of not being redundant I’ll mention a few things they missed during my visit and yet they still managed to make my dining experience fantastic.Within the first milliseconds of our appetizers being served, the lady quickly apologized for our soupy dumplings had leaked a bit and she offered 2 extra dumplings on the house - truth being told, I never would have realized they bursted!They also forgot to bring our alcoholic beverages - something that we weren’t really concerned about but mentioned upon asking for the bill. The lady once again apologized and with it came a 10% discount.They know how to keep a customer happy no matter the circumstances. Can’t wait to be back to Canberra with a hungry appetite just to visit White Chaco.

Absolutely spectacular. Do not miss if you're visiting Canberra.I had dinner here on a casual recommendation, and came back three times in the next two days. The food very literally brought a tear to my eye it was that delicious. For my first visit, I got the Chong Qing Popcorn Chicken, Black Sesame Ramen, and the Ehime cocktail.My cocktail was perfectly sweet and fresh and complex, I can't do much to describe it but you'll have to try for yourself because it definitely might be one of my favourite cocktails ever.The Chong Qing Chicken was hot and crisp and incredibly Mala with a blend of red and green Szechuan peppercorns, and dried chilli - a very pleasant level of spice not at all too hot.As for the Sesame Black Ramen, the broth was thick mouth-coating and absolutely delicious with a deep umami almost earthy flavour - complemented by the crisp pickled bamboo to cut through the richness, served with handmade noodles and topped with the most beautiful jammy soy egg and melt-in-your-mouth thick cut smoky chasu pork. This is the dish that gave me a true religious experience at my table.Also pictured are the scallops and two of the bao options. Not pictured was the Xiao Long Bao, beef cheek, chicken wings, and vego truffle ramen - all of which I tried at another sitting and can not fault. Absolutely spectacular food, lovely helpful staff, and the chef was very kind and gracious when I asked if I could thank him in person.Please do not miss this beautiful restaurant!!

This has to be one of the nicest Japanese restaurants - with a Taiwanese twist.The dining area has a clean, modern look with subdued lighting and polite staff.The food was from all courses was delicious and you could see the chefs also put in a little extra effort in the presentation too.I have to say the garlic pork ramen was excellent, with the pork melting in your mouth and the soup rich and creamy... as all good ramen soup should be.I purposely didn't overeat just so I can come back tomorrow and try more dishes.AAA+ Recommend!
