What an experience! Yes, hand-made wines to sample together with tempting liquors and cheeses and stories. Also hand craftwork of all kinds in timber and curios for the bohemian inclined. Loved it!

Never open even if it states on internet I've been staying away a other day as it states open Thursday turn up Thursday after driving 150 km still closed don't no why we bother with this place we have coming here for year and still not open it is poor bloody service as far as we are concerned. They have lost my business

Awesome Wine , Awesome Cheese , Awesome Raspberry Jam... oh and Awesome Grumpy Old Bastard (Liqueur). Its a credit to these guys ... Its ALL GOOD ! Will return again for sure !

Visited twice over the last few days (Thursday 5 Jan and Saturday 7 Jan) and they were closed on both occasions despite opening hours suggesting they would be open. After it being closed on the Thursday we gave it a second chance and were disappointed to find it closed again on Saturday especially as we had ridden bikes from Stanthorpe.

What a surprise Severn Brae Estate turned out to be. Called in to try some cheese and perhaps have some coffee. We certainly got this and a lot more. We did not realise it was also a winery and a historic building filled with bric-a-brac. The owner Bruce made us feel very welcome providing generous samples of both cheese and wine accompanied by a nonstop commentary on the building, the wines, his cheeses, and Stanthorpe. We appreciated the stories, the ambiance and the country hospitality. Not everyone will approve of the disordered appearance of the cellar door but very few will have qualms about the cheese and wine, not to mention the hot sauce or the enthusiastic host.

Some of the best port and liqueur I've tasted and a fantastic host to go with it. However the place was overly cramped. If they had more seating options and a more relaxed demeanour. I would of been more than happy to sit back and try the full range of wines and liqueurs and probably increased my purchasing. But still some incredible wines. Worth a stop.

Very hands on staff, likes a chat and does a good tastingThe cheese we brought was quite nice .The mead we sampled was good, haven’t opened the ones I brought yet.Lots of interesting wood work around
