North Melbourne Community Centre

The maternal child health nurse Ange is absolutely wonderful. There is nothing more terrifying and exciting that being a parent but having Ange as constantly support throughout both my children's early stages was instrumental. I’ve genuinely never met anyone more loving, caring and supportive. She goes above and beyond. It’s more than a career for her it’s her passion. We’ve been so blessed to have Ange in our lives!

Excellent community centre. Friendly staff and lots of facilities.

Nice little community park with play areas for kids of all ages. There's kids playground, basketball court, mini soccer ground, and the community centre.

The gym equipment is solid and does the job, although the building is definitely older, doesn’t impact on the training experience. The customer service by two of staff, in particular the young lady with pink in her hair, is off putting. As a member from the now closed KCRC I was used to friendly and welcoming service, these two staff members have a level of arrogance and tone about their approach. Almost as though they are doing me a favour in me being able to train there. Folks, gyms are everywhere, many people haven’t returned.

Has a lot of facility. Rooms are available for hire for any activity. Hope Church has a room allocated every Sunday for worshipping. Parking around the venue is ample but be aware of the time limitations .

They never bother to update their business hours! Today, 8 Jan 2023 is the second time I went there for the gym but they were closed. The other time was on 24 Dec 2022. On both dates, their website was listed as OPEN though.

Excellent community facility.

This sports centre has a lovely community feel and is never overcrowded or dirty. Love the yoga teacher here too; Lee, is particularly passionate and encouraging. My particular disappointment relates to the reception staff, which can be quite hit-and-miss in their welcoming.Recently, when I forgot my phone to check in, a staff member gave me a massive tone of condescension and arrogance. In my experience, there's always a nicer way to let someone down/not permit entry. In addition, telling someone I've never seen you at this gym" is firstly not a reliable measure of my attendance and also very unwelcoming.All in all a massive put off."

Run down as hell! But gave it 3 stars for the best yoga teacher in the world!!! 3 stars for Lee Ann!!
