Matt helped my partner train our two crazy dogs today to stop pulling on lead. Highly recommend!

Matt is absolutely amazing! He’s very knowledgeable, professional and works with you to break down the concerns with your dog and create a path forward. I have two large rescue dogs (a greyhound cross and a bull arab cross), both with their own issues. After 1 session with Matt, I can say they have resolved around 70-80% of the concerns. I am thankful I followed my gut and booked in with him, as leaving problem behaviours unchecked will inevitably lead to a poor outcome for you and your dog (or even for someone else)! I had gone the positive training path for as long as possible with my two, and while they had great manners, listened to me well etc, the positive training was not nipping their problem behaviours in the bud. I’d ordered an e-collar (with a 2 dog setting) and had introduced it to them, but didn’t know how to consistently incorporate this tool into our training in order to get results.Since meeting with Matt, my dogs have been able to enjoy off leash adventures, including camping and the beach (an impossible venture before). One thing to consider is that you aren’t just unlocking freedom for your dog, it’s freedom for you too! Most methods to train a dog take work and consistency - Matt’s methods are no different. If you commit to the time and energy, I know it’ll produce great outcomes.It has brought me so much joy to see my dogs thrive under our new plan, seeing my once fearful dog enjoying pats from others, able to walk them both on the lead without being “walked” myself by them, and excessive barking is in the past. I know we still have some improvements left to go, but I’m thankful for the tools at my disposal now to tackle an issue that comes our way. Thank you Matt!Side note: Their dog food is amazing! I have people stopping me on walks asking what I feed my dogs because of their gorgeous shiny coats, strong muscles and healthy gums/teeth. I’m looking to switch my cat to their food as well, once her current food runs out! Make the switch, you seriously won’t regret it!

Superb trainer

Absolutely incredible training! 1 session and my dog connected the dots and is walking in heel immediately for me and listening to my commands.Cannot recommend Matt enough. Should be more trainers like him who actually know what they are doing, not just think they do.Thanks Matt!

Absolutely Mind Blowing!!! I can not recommend Matt enough!! We really needed help with our deaf dog, and was aware that the change could take sometime, but did not expectfrom 1 session immediate results.So excited to see more changes through more sessions. Thank you.

Absolutely incredible, Matt is amazing, I had booked 1 hour session today for my 1 year old Staffy Nassah. I missed the first 15mins of the session cause I was at work and my goodness I came home to a whole new dog. She didn't jump up all over me like usual. Matt's no nonsence to the point way of training is incredible, and I can already see a change in Nassah. We purchased a shock collar from Matt which we havnt actually had to use yet.I can see why Matt has 5 star reviews, if I could I would give him 10 stars. What we needed help from Matt today was for Nassah to stop jumping when ever you walked outside, as well as walking on the leash. Matt told me when he arrived Nassah was like a koala just stuck to him jumping up acting like a fool.We took Nassah for a walk up the street and with a few clicks and assertive words we can now take Nassah for walks without her pulling on the lead.The awesome thing as well about Performance K9 is Matt can come to you at home train your dog.Georgia, Matt's wife was also friendly and pleasant to speak with. She responded to my email straight away with a follow up phone call the next day.She explained a little about Matt and his training method and was easy to arrange an appointment, with a reminder SMS message the day before to confirm appointment.Overall hands down the best dog trainer you see results straight away. Worth every dollar. Now its up to me to continue working with Nassah with all Matt had shown us so we don't have to use the collar anymore.Thanks Performance K9Matt & Gerogia

I literally created a Google account so I could write this review because after 2 very long years of stress, failed training techniques, money loss, and getting kicked out of obedience classes, Matt changed my life in 1 single hour and I’m shook.Before Matt, my dogs were jumping up and scratching everyone like psychos, scratching relentlessly at the door, rushing out the door, referring onto each other when excited and overall just not listening.All of the above is now sorted. There’s a saying ‘there’s no silver bullet’ … Matt is the silver bullet.Very switched on bloke and awesome bedside manner. I honestly cannot rate him more.
