If i could I wouldn't give it any stars , worst place you could go the office smells really bad , was on meant to move in today had 2 weeks rent and had the car packed up , got to the office and was told our room was taken , i had called up the day before organised a room as i had to move out today ! Worst place you could go i would recommend staying right away from here !

Yes so Strathavon has its pros and cons. There are a few different sections" in the place. I've been lucky enough to have been placed in what I believe to be the nicest section. It's like it's own little community by the river. The view is fantastic! Have the river Right outside my front door. The other sections are definitely a little dicey

Where hospatality and personal service have been a tradition for over 70 years"Well thats a load of rubbish there is no kitchens they have you living in a shoe box the prices are rediculous the rooms are full of cokeroaches

Strathavon saved us. Like everywhere that is medium to long term accommodation it is what you make it as far as the other tenants are concerned. The staff are fantastic. Night watchman who actually watches at night. Great job guys. Big thumbs up

A beautiful building with alot of history. Unfortunately needs to be renovated again, it would be a good idea to offer the Tennants who rent there an opportunity to learn new skills doing this in exchange for rent.

Really you let people live here? And the UN know? People run away from conditions like these. What's in that river out the back? There's something down there and it's angry because it was bubbling and stuff, maybe that's where the bodies go when people complain. Cheap does not mean you can put people in these conditions and helping people does not mean take advantage of people.

I have attended a few functions here and have found staff to be ok, service and food was good. Character and charm for a heratige error place and I think some people forget this when they come here and unfairly compare it with modern resorts which have modern amenities without the age and character of Strathavon! Yes like a lot of places it could do some improvements but it is not bad overall.

I have read the reviews for Strathavon with disappointment as this used to be a grand house to stay with pool tennis court etc, Management can make a difference to any accomodation so lets hope someone witha sympathetic attitude can restore this lovely house and make it what itonce was.
