Not looking forward to visiting, after unpleasant experiences in the past, we were seriously impressed with the service we received reversing the belligerent automatic cancellation of our benefits by The System".Thank you Daniel!"

Attended Greensborough office today, alas Daniel not there. Served by the rudest young woman clearly very angry. Advised I had spent Friday afternoon on the phone trying to return Medicares call to me. About 40 people in front of me. Happy to wait but got too upset to put up with her rudeness. Walked out and started to cry in the car. Now I know why so many people go in pairs.

Not sure of the lady who “helped” me but first thing she said when she called my name up was... “I don’t know anything about CCS, if it pops up on the screen no staff really want to deal with it” how unprofessional is that? At least she was right, she had no bloody idea what she was doing. She asked 2 staff members to help her and they didn’t know what to do either, she must’ve asked her supervisor to help and he just gave me the blunt “there’s nothing we can do”. Then telling her to hurry up and serve someone else right in front of me.Disrespectful. If I could vote zero stars, I would!

6 people called in sick today so lines and waits were long. Staff present did their best to make it pleasant.

The chairs facing the back wall and AWAY from reception are EXTREMELY impersonal RUDE ALMOST, (obviously to stop the public stares). My 85 year old mother got TOLD by Reception she had a “minute and a half” to explain and was then moved on out after traveling 50 minutes to get there. TYPICAL DAN ANDREWS GOVT RUDENESS. ROBOTS ARE NICER..!!

I came this morning with my child, the lady at the counter was prompt and helpful, she took my details & told me to wait. After 10 minutes, I was attended by Ellen, who was so swift and professional, she helped me settle my Centrelink registration, Medicare card for both me and my daughter, and even showed me how to navigate online for claims and whatnot.I drove all the way and was definitely worth it. Thank you.

Had a great experience with staff today. Quick and simple. No lines perhaps by pure luck but my problems were fixed with no difficulties. It was a much better service than trying to call, which I was helped with today in person as well - setting up my voice print. A big thanks to the staff, I know this would be a tough job.

If I could give zero stars, I would! This Centrelink Office in Greensborough has staff who have no idea what they're doing nor saying! This is who the Government has hired people, paid by YOU the Tax Payer!I had to visit this Branch twice in the end my query was finally resolved in the by calling.I was given the incorrect information on my first visit, so returned the following day armed with the relevant documentation, only to be told it wasn't enough! Please do your job properly because you look like fools!

As I am new to Centrelink and all the categories, my first experience was it’s like a library with forms for everyone and everything and they all needed to fill out with detailed personal information. I don’t understand once you have registered, you are given a number and that number holds all the information. Now I have a Centrelink number with the personal information required, why are the first 10 pages of every form asking for it again and again? I understand if you need to change some, but fill it out completely or it will not be accepted, that doesn’t make sense in a world that needs to slim down the overuse natural resources. I thought we were becoming a paperless society, but I have a moving box full of copies of every form you have made me feel out, printed to bring in to your office, and told to keep as a receipt in paper form.I attended the Greensborough office, waiting quietly in line, looking around at all the information I could access, yet one sign stood out and it was everywhere. “Be respectful or you will be removed” basically. Yes I completely understand that in times of desperation, hardship and fear, people can and do get frustrated and upset. So why is there no empathy, compassion shown to that person? Have they been given the opportunity to have education that is needed to assist those who use your services? There Is always that one person behind the desk, they are quite abrupt towards you no matter how you look or speak to towards them, the one with the power to remove you, treating you like a lesser person, label you, and finds gratification when the chance arises for them to use their power towards you.I have been into the Greensborough Centrelink office twice now and I have been attended to by the same person both times. Honestly I laughed at the answer she gave me to a simple and probably most asked question, “where is a power point to charge my phone please” the answer shocked me, “I was not to use the power points as my device could interfere with the governments system” thats ok, that’s one to tell the girls over coffee. But the second visit was much worse. I do not understand why this person is in the position they are in. I use a stick to walk, it fell down and she didn’t even attempt to assist me. She definitely didn’t t seem to enjoy the job that everyone in the centre would had liked to have. There was no expression or empathy towards my circumstances, and I felt like she was playing solitaire on the computer as she never made eye contact or asked any questions other than “why I came in”? It was like I was bothering her in a time she could be on eBay or Facebook, she definitely had no intention of helping me in anyway. I had to fill out the forms at home and bring them in as the MyGov website will not upload more than 6 pages at a time, this for was 64 pages, double sided. I now have to go back because “I” didn’t give page 26 & 27. I did, I double checked before I made the drive. So when she when to photocopy it, (more wasted paper, ink, power) she missed those pages. So Centrelink, is your policy to never blame the employee always blame the person that cannot prove what she is saying, the client? I would like to know so I can tape my experience, only if I’m allowed. So I am not to keep attending the centre for issues that could be solved in another way.At the GREENSBOROUGH Centrelink office, it was only the one person, everyone else was helpful, and spend time with me, even in the busy time.
