- Small portion size for what you pay for. $21 for a small container of curry and ordinary rice.- Ordered the lamb madras which is meant to be a nice savoury curry with a subtle sweetness from fresh tomatoes and spices. It turned out to be a below average lamb curry with a tonne of coconut cream and 10 pieces of lamb (and I’m being generous).- after eating this curry I felt sick maybe from the copious amount of coconut cream.- staff were good to go just the food not worth what you’re paying for.

Ordered food from door dash , worst food I ever hadBriyani chicken was soo chewy and I a have upset stomach now .Garlic nan was burnt and tandoori chichen waa so plain .no flavor at all Worst food everHorrible food literally disgusting

Had dinner here tonight with the family . To be honest I can be fussy when it comes too food . Firstly the food here was very very good. Full of flavour great portions an too be honest loved it . I will definitely be back for this feed again .this picture s should say it all

This is the first bad review I've ever left. I always go out of my way to review good restaurants because people only feel like piping up for bad food/service. But I'm breaking that streak. The food took over an hour and a half to arrive (it's only 3 minutes to the restaurant, we were watching the gps avidly for the last hour). Our korma was cold, naan was dry and cold. Pappadums were edible but overcooked. Sauce was adequate, but that was pretty much the only plus, and the only reason for an extra star. The consolation prize? A cheap tub of rice that won't get eaten because we'd already paid for rice for every curry. $80 down the drain.

Fantastic service, flavourful food.The decor is a bit of a mismatch, which adds to the charm. 2 Star restaurant prices with 5 star service from our lovely waiter.We had the Meat Tasting Platter for two which was delicately spiced and beautifully presented and a Chicken Masala - (which was spicy, but not burn your face off hot), Saffron rice and a cheese and garlic naan. Overall the experience was worth jumping on and immediately reviewing.Highly recommend.

The best food in the town. Tried many Indian restaurants but didn’t get the Indian taste i was looking for. I have to say their Manchurian is best i have had in Australia, the taste is so close to the indian Manchurian. Highly recommend to try the Manchurian.

Had some issues with the previous owners decor. That being said. New owners new decor and food that is to die for.We called in on recommendations from our neighbours and my am I glad we listened.Would not hesitate to recommend Tadka to all for an authentic experience for you and your taste buds.Lovely dining in a restaurant where you are genuinely looked after and the staff are very proud of their food.And after tasting the Goat and Chicken Curries they have every right to be proud.I look forward to seeing you soon.

Delicious, authentic Indian, great serving sizes and very fair prices. Good stuff.EDIT: Has a new manager which is fine, but prices have gone up slightly and the curries just don't have as much flavour anymore. Still good, but worse than what it was.

I am new to this area, decided to order couple of chiken biryanis from here must admit that was the worst biryani ever I have tried. It was just fried rice with some chicken pieces thrown into it ,no flavors at all . More over raw onions were thrown in it . Not ever going to this place again ..
