The sign at the servery advised that they were understaffed and that if we were after a quick meal then maybe come back another time. We have eaten here many times and while the meals arrived fairly quickly we all agreed they were not up to the standard we were used to. Nothing definitive just not as good as usual.

Lovely venue for a relaxing drink or meal with riverside outdoor area and spacious inside, excellent for groups.Wide variety of well cooked food with good friendly service from the kitchen and bar staff. Prices are good for the large portions served. Daily specials and menus for seniors and children also available.Most enjoyable.

Food was shocking!Ordered a steak sandwich the steak was nothing but tough and grisly, couldn’t bite it off with out pulling the sandwich apart due to the bun being stale as well. Just not appealing at all.

Do yourself a favour and pop in for a feed. Good size serving, tasty meal, friendly staff. You can eat inside or out, great location with a relaxing view. Fenced in play area for the kids and ducks roaming - I have a thing for ducks!

We arrived to check in the the 2 bedroom that we had ordered. The young lady checking us in was very unhappy, not one smile. It wasn't nice at all. The room was ok. Some curtain missing in one of the bedrooms which let the light in. The fridge took 2 hours to get cold from room temperature. Dinner was lovely. Location on the river was nice. Wasn't impressed to spend that much on dinner at the restaurant only to have to get up when our buzzer went off to go and get our own meals. I'm absolutely sure they could deliver it to our table for us.

We have been going every Friday night for last 3 years and love it.Staff are fantastic and the food lady is nothing short of brilliant and always has our tea ready to go. We have a regular meal and it has always been of a high standard.Love it.

The staff have Excellent customer service skills! The rooms are clean and the view from room 5 is awesome. I can highly recommend this hotel.
