Barra on Todd Restaurant and Bar
Food and service require a bit more consistency. Someone told me the barramundi is frozen, not fresh; I probably don’t see this as a big deal given where we are. Accor Plus silver members or above get 50% off food. We ate here every night during our time in Alice Springs as we stayed at the Mercure Hotel. Breakfast - same buffet every morning; coffee machine should be updated; sausage tasted a bit funny on the first day so I never had it again; still a good buffet with a good variety of fruits.

The Restaurant is very spacious with high ceilings with its modern decor design. Dining area was neat and clean.Dinner menu consist of half Barramundi dishes and the other half were Kangaroo, Duck, Pork, lamb, Scotch Steak and Chicken dishes. The average cost of main course meal @$43… but lunch menu Clubs Sandwiches was filling @$20, Fish n Chips were pretty good @$23.Dinner menu is pricey but lunch menu is good value for money.The service and staff were pleasant, polite, helpful and knowledgeable of the menu.

Meals very over priced not much under 45 dollars.Would be ok if meals were bigger. Stayed here recently for work.trip.Last meal I had the vegtables were very raw and could hardly cut carrots and very small..Resort itselve is very nice and pool would be lovely in summer....Room comfortable looks like.a bit of water damage on ceiling.,would stay again but they need to improve on size and charges and more variety on menu.

It was a convenient hotel lunch restaurant nothing spectacular. Some of the food was nice, the spaghetti bolognese had the pasta over cooked unfortunately. But portion sizes were good. The service was extremely slow but they did say in advance they were short staffed before seating us so it was expected.

I ordered the pork belly. The food was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The wait time for my dine in dinner was roughly 15 minutes. The staff were professional and kind.The following night i ordered take away hot chips and it took over 40 minutes to be given to me.

We ordered 2 main courses, 3 entries, 2 glasses of wine- $180.Small piece of Barra with rice and some veggies is $45. The value is just not there. The food is fine, not fantastic, and extremely overpriced. The service is good, definitely not a 5 Star equivalent to justify such high prices, waiting staff seemed a little lost/ distracted.

Barra on Todd is aFantastic restaurant. It is our favourite restaurant in Alice Springs. The prices are a little higher than I would like but they make up for it in atmosphere and meal preparation. The stunning pool outside gives a dazeling view at night. The meals were cooked very well. I had the Baramundi which I would expect to be excellent as of the name of the restaurant, and it did not let me down. The beverage range is extensive. The kids meals are generous portions which was great for my kids. They also come with ice cream. The price of the kids menu is very good value for what you get. The service from all the staff is always at a very high standard, I could not fault the staff this time. I highly recommend if you are a local or passing through.

Over priced, disappointed with all meals the family received.Ordered grilled barramundi, had no flavour with the risotto and veg it came with.My dad ordered scotch fillet, steak was full of Grisel, had to send back was disgusting.Kids cheeseburger came full of salad and special sauce, not tomato sauce- not what you expect in a kids cheeseburger. Other kids pasta ordered was also not very nice sprinkled with green herbs, again probably not really needed on kids menu.Service was good, food and price not

Needs a visit from Gordon Ramsey. Has potential but no leadership. Nobu prices but Noodle box quality. Staff go missing, service slow, portion size tiny and a price list to gouge the American tourists
