Ararat Car Wash
Clean and working enclosed dog wash. Parking available inside on the lawn opposite the dog wash. The coin dispenser near the car wash came in handy to exchange all my 5c coins for $1 coins.

Ive been to this car wash in the past and its always kept up well. After today my car that i just purchased broke down on the property and the owners could not have been kind enough, the most lovely understanding business owners ive met. They will forever have customer service from me.

Easy pay process. I personally use the drive through automatic myself, but I notice many customers from all industries and areas using the individual bays and cleaning services with the vaccuming and Dog Grooming areas.

Great facility for washing your car when passing through. Easy to tap your card/phone to pay. You can even wash your dog! New owners are great, friendly and local

Mediocre. The water is stone cold rather than warm like most are which makes it less effective, the spray pressure is high, but volume of pressure water is lower than any others I have used resulting in a very fine, fluffy spray that just isn't overly effective at rinsing, the pressure soap stopped being soapy half way too. The place has recently been upgraded and is certainly much nicer and the mat clamps now work.The card payments surcharge is NOT disclosed as to the amount before you tap your card, and it's pretty rich at a fixed 50c per transaction, so an $8 wash is a whopping 6%
