The Settlement camping area, Springbrook National Park
Limited set camping areas, quite small. No good for large vehicles or large groups but trailer can be backed in. Drop/flush toilet ok, No showers. Picnic area at entrance is good. Close to all the walks in the area which also have plenty of toilets, some flush some drop. Not one of my favs as i prefer more open space, but each camp is separated by a small amount of trees/bush and feels private which is nice. Perfect spot for staying while exploring the area

Guess this is the only camping area in springbrook national parkYou will need a e permit to camp inside which you can apply through the internet or by phonecall. The camping area is very limited which I believe is only open for 11 slots everyday. The camping area is clean, at least for the BBQ area and toilet. No open fire in the camping area however you are allowed to use gas stove.I found there are quite some number of leech at the camp site and I have a very very bad wound from them. So prepare something for them. The camp site will get very muddy if there is a heavy rain for make sure to check the weather forecast.

Well I was here couple of days ago just when the rain was hard. The bushes were all in flood and the road was flooded too with multiple landslides. I enjoyed my solo camping in here just in rain. It was amazing. I could hear purling brook falls falling down just from my camping spot. It has electric bbq with stoves permitted but no open fire. It has good toilets. The camp ground and carpark is attached. One camp with one car park. So, it has that kinda privacy in it and I absolutely enjoyed it.

This camping os so fun. I got there when it was dark and couldn’t get where I am. I felt like I’m going to sleep in the bushes, but in the morning when I woke up Wallaby was by my car! Lots of different birds. It was soooooo cool! There is toilet and bbq zone. No showers. Cafe 4 minutes driving from camp, lots of look outs and tourist points. Just amazing.

This camping area is walking distance to a small town. There is an electric BBQ. The campsites are small private enclaves, with car access, surrounded by the forest. There are various hikes nearby, especially the Purling Brook Falls walk. This campsite is a good base for exploring the Springbrook hinterland area, such as Warrie circuit.
