A nice easy peaceful walk. We did the Monitor Loop which was about 7km. A few creek crossings but an easy walk. Sign posted well.About 2km into the loop a dog appeared from a retreat house nearby. He walked the entire way with us and had a tag on his collar that said he was the tour guide. Wallace was his name and very friendly. Will be back again.

Monitor trail not well marked. Doubled back twice trying to find our way. Not very interesting as it is rocky and you have to watch footfall all the time.

Great trail to either hike or mountain bike ride. I'm a hiker so I hiked one the larger trails. The landscape is stunning with a variety of biomes: from Sugar Gum and Long Leaved Box forest in the higher slopes. Mixed SA Blue Gum, White Box and Grey box woodlands in the middle slopes and former pasture and mixed Peppermint/Grey box on lowest slopes of the walk. I went in Spring saw huge variety of flowering shrubs, perennial grasses and a few Orchids! Heard and saw an amazing array of insects and birds. From a variety of different butterflies, meat ants, a few dragonflies and moths. I observed Kookaburras, wrens, galahs, Rosellas, Ringneck parrots, Lorikeets, Wattlebirds, and Peregrine Falcons. If you love nature, bike riding or hiking... a stunning spot.

Some great family friendly trails with some surprisingly non-smelly drop toilets!

Be sure to check out e-skid-na! Great flowy gravity trail - suitable and fun for both adults and kids.

New trails are techy, flowy and worth the effort. Like all Destination Trails they work well for beginners and shredders, getting harder the faster you go. Well worth the ride out on the rail trail.

Ho-hum. Rode with fit, bike savvy 8 year old who loves mountain biking. He absolutely hated Awky Squawky & Waterfall Link. The latter two trails are poorly laid out on marginal, rocky terrain with bushels of loose rocks to ruin your day. There is nothing flowy about them.He did enjoy Possum Magic and loved Orb Flow both of which are well designed with various built features. We roared around the Twisted Sister - Orb Flow loop 3 or 4 times with big smiles.Flash new toilets, signs and repair stands are nice, but do not a trail network make. A little more investment in the main trail system with more built features and mitigating the loose rocks would make this perfect facility for new to medium skilled riders, young and old.

A walk for when you want to walk, no awe moments along the way. The track we went on, was monitor loop and is well marked. The numerous bike trails often criss-cross this old 4 wd track. The track is quite rocky and care needs to be exercised. Some old farm machinery was fun to look at. Excellent toilets and shelters/tables were available. Car park was also great. Of interest for bikers was the repair centre post so bike could be repaired etc.
