Worst Experience EVER!!! We booked a courtyard room and were told it was enclosed and pet friendly. Upon arrival at 1pm were told it would be an additional $10 if we wanted to book in 1 hour earlier and worst of all, the courtyard room was not enclosed and was more like a tiny patio. We had driven all the way up and were given no apology from the manager. We were very disappointed at the un-professionalism and arrogance.

Our family booked two rooms. The upstairs room (room 223) was actually pretty good - yeah, not fancy but clean and beds were hard (which I like). Problem was with the downstairs room - it was musty to the extreme. There is obviously a dampness problem in the room (room 118). One of my family had to go and sleep in the car - it was that bad.If it was just the upstairs room then it would be 3 stars. However the downstairs room would be 0 stars if it was possible to give this rating.

This place is not a Resort at all. I paid $150 a night. Standard Queen room.We were put in a queen room with 2 queen beds. The shower had missing tiles on the floor. the edge tiles on the balcony were off and sitting on top of the air conditioning unit. the cupboard where the coffee cups were kept had human hair in it and a coster wheel of a bed base. the glasses in the fridge still had orange juice pulp around the rim. for the size of the room the Tv provided was about 19 (the size of a computer screen). While we were at Dinner and the movies between 5pm and 11pm somebody from staff had entered our room and emptied the bin and changed towels. We had all our stuff out at this time. You couldn't swim in the pool as it was covered in dirt on the bottom and leaves and sticks floating on top.The furniture and bedding was dated from the early 90's. Fridge hardly worked and the wood was rotten at the bottom. There was no alarm clock and no room phone. The bio on the property states room service but this is none existent as there is no way to contact front desk. When these complaints were made at check out nothing was done to sort these issues out. There were other couples complaining about the same things. I stayed in room 206. I would not recommend this property to any body at all. there are better places to stay around the same price or cheaper."

We were greeted by the friendly staff on arrival and shown our pet friendly room 103. Our family of four holidayed for the first time with our kelpie and we wondered how it would go. I have to say it could not have been better! While the decor is a little dated that's not what we were here to look at! We wanted a clean, secure room that met our needs and a relaxed atmosphere and that's precisely what we got! Staff were always on hand for queries. The kids divided their time between the pool and games room. We even gave tennis and basketball a go! There's plenty of exercise room for our kelpie in the grounds away from other guests for his fave game of tennis ball fetch. He could go for hours! We had a TV, fridge, toaster and kettle in our room. We breakfasted in our room at our leisure and ate out the rest of the time. The games room has a dinner table and TV and lounge. We dined in and chilled one night- it was great. There was another family that had the bbq outside. Everyone was relaxed! Despite it being the hottest time of year the air con wasn't needed, we were in the ground floor apartment and it was naturally cool. Oh the parking! Almost forgot. Free and ample. Park right outside your room no need to walk through reception. Most days were filled heading down to Wamberal beach. Kids swam between the flags and the kelpie hung around the dogs off leash area for fetch in the waves. Gosford council has a map online of local dog friendly beaches. Terrigal, Forresters, Long Jetty and The Entrance are all a short drive up and down the main road outside the resort. Easy as we're not local. Looking forward to booking again with extra family. Our room had an interconnecting door to another pet friendly room, it could be double the fun next year :)

The only thing I liked is plenty of parkingI hated this resort as the service is so bad. We stayed there for two nights and the next morning we went out and left the sign on the door to make the room up. We came back in the afternoon and they had not touched the roomI asked the reception to make sure they do the room as we are going out again for a few hours,we came back and they only thing they had done is throw the quilt on the bed without changing any pillow cases or sheets and they left two new towelsThere were two rubbish baskets I the bathroom and the bedroom that they just left the rubbish there and they had not emptied them. Also they did not put new shampoo or conditionerThe sliding doors for the balcony in the room were so dirty and. Had cob web on them , discussing hotel and not worth the money you pay which was $160.00/night

Resort" is a pretty strong word to describe the Apollo; Apollo Motor-Inn would be more fitting. It is understaffed and not well maintained. Only 2/5 of the cleaning staff showed up our first night and that portion didn't have enough time to clean our rooms. The place was

I would suggest you stay somewhere else unless you were hard pressed to find another place. The place is severely run down, we had numerous issues with our room such as: 1. Kettle, coffee, tea and sugar but no cups? 2. Ironing board didn't stay up and almost burnt myself twice, iron supplied leaked all the water you put in it. 3. Bathroom issues, hot water tap in shower leaked hot water so when you turned the taps off you got burnt by hot water the funny thing is they tucked a hair tie in to try and stop the leak. We ran out of toilet paper (only the one roll) had to go to reception (closed) and ended up stealing the toilet paper from the communal toilets. 4. Only 3 lights in room, one at entrance and two small opposite side of bed and only one works so very dark in the room. the place looked dirty and has obviously been neglected. Grounds look terrible with the pond that looks like the KOI even want to get out. Tennis court is horrible with net that is degrading. Basketball ring is bent and only about 7 ft high, the place is not a resort but worst then a motel. Also if you stay multiple nights they don't make up your room each day so be prepared to have nothing done. $250/night for them to do absolutely nothing. Worst place i have every stayed at and i've stayed at alot of places.

Traveling with dogs can be difficult. Great stop and friendly staff. Room was fully equipped for your pets and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stop if are traveling with pets.

I just wish you could give a zero star rating.Perhaps I mistook the dog friendly resort for dog only? The bed sheets were filthy with unidentified green and yellow stains accompanied by some adorable brown paw prints. After asking staff to change the bed sheets, only the quilt cover was changed which was an improvement as it only had a few bindis.Wifi was falsely advertised, fresh towels contained a friendly spider and a few free bindis.Cutlery was limited to a single spoon accompanying a dirty fork. After all the complaints were made, we were disappointed to be advised we weren’t welcome back.

This place is over-rated for its condition and lack of maintenance. We were astounded to find the supposedly 'upgraded' room downgraded for a start; then the cleaners that just came through gave us only one towel....there were no landline so each and every time we needed something we need to walk downstairs. After walking down for the towel I wasn't in the mood to go down again, after my shower, to change the cracked champagne glass and the milk for my tea.. overall it was not the Resort" as claimed as cabinets and fittings were falling apart within around the resort. The owners need to re-evaluate their pricing; star-rating and make some major changes to make this more livable and bring it back to its original state."
