I was driving back from the city, I just needed time out. I drove in a bit further and found a very pretty spot with running water. I felt revived after being there for 10 - 15 minutes

Great rest area, plenty of room to find your own private spot. No amenities and very little rubbish which was so nice to see!We didnt have any mozzies however with some more water around i imagine they might be about ...Easy access from the roadside, you can hear the trucks at night but nothing major...

After hearing about Martup Pool we decided to spend a weekend here. It is truly a hidden gem especially if there was a bit more water in the pool - we found no mozzies in January. Next time after rain we will bring kayaks and mozzie repellant (just in case). Great rest stop 1/2 way between Albany and Perth.

Martup pool rest area on the main Albany not well sign posted blink and you would miss it. Pretty stop but no toilets

Looks like just another place to pull over and rest for a bit on a long drive ... But get out of the car and take a short walk down the track to find the hidden gem of Martup pool with a fire pit, a bit of history and lots of nature. So glad I took the walk
