Queanbeyan GP Super Clinic

I took my daughter to see Dr Ambar Rafique today, that was a very unpleasant experience. She did not say hi to me or my daughter, she would not even move to examine her, with her finger she asked me to bring my daughter closer to her TWICE! Then to get her attention, she kept poking her with her finger!!!! I had to put my arms around her so she would stop poking her!!! She failed to check my baby’s temperature, I reminded her to do so. My daughter didn’t let her (I wouldn’t blame her, I wouldn’t have myself!!) then she kept saying “she really doesn’t like doctors!” I should have said “no, she doesn’t like you!” With that attitude she shouldn’t see any patients let alone children! Her diagnosis wasn’t better than her attitude either, I wouldn’t trust it! I will make an official complaint about her.

I brought my nephew to see Dr. Amber Rafique. Reception was v polite. Dr. was thorough, polite and had a v good bed manner. A truly friendly family practice.

I have always sensed that Dr. Amber Rafique really cares about her patients. During this particular experience, she has been there to help me in resolving a complicated medical issue. She has such a bubbly demeanor; and, at the same time, a highly qualified approach to helping her patients. I just love going to her. She truly cares!

Woah! Something verty dysfunctional here. They're barely functioning, always running late (later than GPs usually are). Reception staff are obviously treated badly because they're unhappy and unconfident. Patient waiting room feels like a sauna and everyone is crammed in. I'll look for somewhere that treats people well.

Dr Amber Rafique is a very caring practitioner who finds the root of problems. Within the first session of seeing her, she identified issues, suggested effective solutions and I saw results. Amazing doctor and highly recommend

Fantastic experience at the GP clinic with nurse Ashley at the QBN GP clinic who gave my lil one her 4 year old vaccine. Thank you Ms Ashley for such a great experience. Ashley was very kind , super fun and I must say not even a tear fell from my child's eyes who is soo scared of needles. It was that quick and she left with a beaming smile with her lil dino from Ms Ashley :)

Receptionist seem to think they are actually medical staff. They seem to insist on speaking to patients as if they are 2 year olds( or believe that's how people should be spoken to, given no one would speak to anyone in that manner). Some medical staff don't seem to know how to call through to Medicare to get authorities for prescribed medications.They seem to be more about having patients going back 101 times rather than providing adequate/ holistic care needs especially to those requiring pain relief.They are happy to attempt offering extreme doses instead of listening to patients who prefer to have their wits about them and not be on medication that would have them appear drugged out .

Terrible service!I have been seeing Dr Azoury at the GP super clinic for almost 20 years, he has delivered my babies and treated them also, he has been absolutely wonderful I would give him 10 stars if I could. Unfortunately he is hard to get into so recently I had to book with someone else (Dr Manassiev) he told me to take a decongestant for 4 days and my issue would clear up, I tried to ask what to do if it didn't go away after 4 days, he told me not to worry about what would happen after 4 days because it would be gone.......6 days later and it hasn't gone, it is just as bad as day 1.I called and asked the receptionist what I should do since the doctor didn't do his job properly by answering my question about what i should do if it doesnt clear up in his timeframe and she just tried to book me in to someone else, I told her I already paid $90 to have a doctor not do his job so I don't want to have to pay again and I was only told that they weren't a bulk billing service. I feel it might be time to move my family to another practice.

Dr Amber Rafique is Very good and professional. The follow up on my case was done by her in a very professional follow up manner .I would recommend the clinic and Dr Rafique to anyone.I will be revisiting when medical need arises.
