Overall a reasonable build with some very good points. However certain aspects have caused us a lot of money in expensive and difficult repairs which should really never have happened in the first place. Chelbrooke not interested as was passed the statute of limitations for builder liability when issues became apparent.

I'm waiting for Chelbrooke Homes to come back to the house they have been working on for 4 months next door to install the downpipes.With thunderstorm forecasts and the wet season upon us, emails from me and messages from the owner have not influenced them.I'm tired of getting my yard flooded.They lack professionalism and ability to take responsibility.

Well, my experience with this builder is very unpleasant. They never keep promises they make and never on time. Sub-contractors the use has poor management too. This company's after service is like nothing. Spending so much money in building a house you should be more careful in selecting one.

If you want to build a house that grows mould after 6 months because they fail to install the correct ventilation and fail to pick up on it at all stages of your build, than I recommend you build a Chelbrook home. If you prefer not to have mould in your newly built house, stay clear of building with them. They also fail to provide the appropriate reports so you are kept in the dark in what type of mould you are dealing with!

We made the mistake of purchasing a house built by Chelbrooke Homes and have had to do extensive renovations. My carpenter who is currently onsite to rectify all the issues has said in all of his 30 years in the building industry never has he seen such poor workmanship and finish. So much is wrong with this house, have plenty of photos to share if you wish to contact me. They should change their name to Hellbroke homes as they have sent us broke.
