Dogs Day Out

The team at Dogs Day Afternoon have been walkingour beloved Pooh Bear three times a week for over 2 years now. They take such good care of him, treating him like he was one of their own. He comes home excercised and happy after lots of interaction with other pups. Darren knows the GSP breed well and has worked hard to correct a couple of bad habits he had prior to us joining his groups. Cannot recommend the service they provide highly enough. Great job- thanks again team.

Darren and his team are the best. Reliable, trustworthy and brilliant with all the dogs they look after. Our dog Charlie loves them all. Darren is also a dog whisperer and great at training stubborn pooches.

Darren lives and breathes his passion for dog training, walking and most of all, the socialisation with the dogs. In all of my years experiences with dogs, I have never seen such respect from the animals towards a human so quickly. This just shows how much trust they have for him, which is hard for a lot of dogs that may have anxiety issues. I highly reccrecom his expertise to anyone.

Darren is the perfect person to look after your dog. Very knowledgeable, easy to get on with and very responsive to all requests. Wouldn’t hesitate to reccomend DDA to anyone.

My dogs love being groomed here. My ancient boy is handled very gently, being washed and dried and encouraged to snooze before the grooming continued. The result was clear from the first visit- he came home with a new spring in his step, running up the front steps for the first time in weeks. I took both dogs for a second grooming session some months later: they loved it. The nail clipping was excellent as was the removal of the undercoat they are currently shedding. Thank you to the caring staff for the excellent grooming work and your kindness to two aging goldies.

Darren and the Dogs Day team run a fantastic dog walking service. All the dogs have a ball and they receive loads of love and cuddles along the way. Darren is particularly good with anxious and shy dogs and provides incredible customer service for busy families. Honestly, I can't recommend Dogs Day walking highly enough!

Dogs Day Afternoon run a fabulous service. They have so much love and care for each and everyone's pup. Our Bodhi Bear loves his weekly walks. I would recommend Darren's service to anyone that owns a dog - small, big, young old. It is a great way to get your dog some extra exercise and safe socialisation with other dogs.

I contacted Darren at Dogs Day Afternoon because I wanted advice and help. I wanted my puppy, Gordon, a 9 week old German Shepard, to grow up to be a beautiful dog. Owning a GSD is a big responsibility and I wanted to ensure that Gordon and I would achieve our goals of Gordon being a socialised, playful, kind, confident and calm boy.Darren was kind enough to do a house visit on a weekend in early March 2018, this was just a few days after Gordon arrived home.With Darren and his team’s help, I could not ask for better assistance in helping Gordon (and I!!!) achieve the goals we set out. This has happened through:• solo walks initially as a puppy (with the Great Leroy and Baxter as mentors);• pack walks now that Gordon is older; and• ongoing one on one obedience training, this being incredibly helpful for both Gordon and myself (it is not just the dog that needs to be trained!!!).I am so proud of Gordon as he grows up and I know that I can attribute a lot of Gordon’s achievements due to our time with Darren and the team from Dogs Day Afternoon.
