Want to try a seafood platter other than your typical places in Freo? This is the place to be, they have 3 locations in Perth so you can choose which branch closest to you.Customer service was great and very friendly! Very patient with us when we were deciding what we should get. Even recommend what we should order. So we got the platter for 5 of us and other dishes and we were so full. Can't find any fault with the dishes as they were all tasty. Best seafood chowder we have eaten in Perth! So creamy and not heavy, we could just drink the whole gravy!As for the platter, the seafood was fresh and tasty! Even though the platter serves 2 people but still it was enough for all 5 of us. So make sure you get the platter just don't go the basic platter. They serve alcohol as well for those who drink.Overall we enjoyed our dining here and will definitely come back again and would recommend others as well.

Went in 2 days ago for date. The staff must have noticed that I was a bit nervous and they came to give me a boost. Loved the way they noticed a little detail.Coming to the food and drinks: It tasted amazing, liked how generous chef was with the cheese on my pasta and our cocktails had a good amount of alcohol as we could feel the hit.Totally recommend the place for food, drinks, ambience and specially the staff. To make my evening perfect, the owner provided us with a complimentary out of this world Tiramisu!! Just couldn't get enough of it!

Service was amazing! Our dish was nothing to write home about but the atmosphere and staff were enough to make us want to go back and give it another go.Edit: back for dinner, seafood platter was amazing and service still on point. Already booked a table for our next visit.

Having read all of the positive reviews, we splurged and ordered the executive platter for a special occasion. It was so disappointing given the high price tag - the photo is misleading. To eat, it was really average - undercooked prawns, luke warm sauce, overcooked calamari & octopus, small servings of added sides, oily fried dishes - overall bland flavours and no extra care in the presentation. Even the brownie for dessert was as hard as a rock. Not to mention the service - the waiter didn’t come near us the whole time, cocktail was spilt when serving, and our order was incorrect when it came to the table. Plus the decor/displays in the restaurant were falling off the ceiling throughout our meal! We won’t be back.

First time visit for dinner Friday PM.Restaurant maybe half full. Steady flow. Staff were busy, friendly and attentive.Slightly lower overall rating for the food.We ordered the famous Cray Platter for Two.It came out piping hot within half an hour.Was a generous meal.Moreton Bay bugs were extremely dry, as overcooked.Crayfish was fantastic. Very meaty.Had to request more mussels as some hadn't opened and several were empty.Very small sized mussel meat. Waitress was super quick to sort.The second serve had actual chilli in the hot sauce, which was great for dipping the cheesey smothered crayfish in.Kilpatrick (meaty sauce topped) oysters were nice, although sauce a little heavy. Natural probably better, and no extra charge added.Prawn on skewers had a very margarine like taste and it looked like they were seated on a puddle of margarine to Shame .No garlicky flavour either. The prawn themselves were great. Plump and juicy.Fish was small but fantastic flavour and texture. Crumbed and deep fried foods were very good. Especially the chips.A small dipping bowl of garlicky butter and/or chilli tomato sauce ( spot the kiwi) would be perfect to accompany. And maybe a little crusty white bread to mop up the excess sauces to.We had to take pepper and salt from another table as requests for them, were forgotten twice.However it was nice that food wasn't overly salty.Presentation was very nice.The restaurant is lowkey but modern. Very relaxed.Staff were lovely, not overpowering at all.Allowed us to take excess home for the kids.Gave us plenty of good quality serviettes.The place was clean and easy to access.Plenty of parking to.We enjoyed this rare date night out. Thank you. Will be a one off visit though.

What a beautiful evening! From the minute we walked in we were made to feel so welcome. The food was absolutely incredible with everything cooked to perfection. The platter had an amazing selection and it was great to try a little of everything. Service was impeccable, with the team being attentive and friendly without being intrusive or overbearing. Made for a really enjoyable date night. Very keen to go back and sample the rest of their menu, and hopefully save room for dessert next time!

I had a lovely time with my family at The Cray Seafood Restaurant. We decided to go on a small trip down south Perth this weekend, and stopped by Rockingham for some authentic seafood dishes, especially after a long drive. I was pleased with the service, the place was welcoming and the food was just amazing. I could tell everything was fresh and to be honest, the price range was very affordable. I ordered seafood with some chips and crunchy toasted bread to dip them in the sauce. My daughter recommended me to get the creme brulee desert, which was very tasty. I am definitely coming back next time I visit Rockingham with my family. Best compliments to the chefs!

Just outstandingly delightful in all areas. The menu is quite extensive with a good variety. While focused on seafood, there are plenty of other options to choose from. The half cray thermidore was exceptional, proceeded by 1/2 dozen oysters with a chilli lime and coriander dressing... yes yes. And then to the creme brulee, just divine. The four of us had a great time for lunch... great food, good atmosphere and great staff service. It was pleasant chatting with our waitress for several minutes. We will be back.
