Beautiful outdoor space. Great area for kids and family as well as first time visitors in Canberra! The restaurant/cafe at the Arboretum is a bit pricy and choices are limited. I would recommend going elsewhere for food

What a wonderful place. Full of outdoor activities for kids and adults alike.Also visited the Bonsai exhibit currently on display.The cafe inside was buzzing - nice coffees and even though it was busy we still found a table.

Must visit destination for nature lovers, families, and anyone seeking a beautiful retreat. The panoramic views from the arboretum are simply breathtaking. I highly recommend taking the time to climb up to the lookout points, as the panoramic views are well worth the effort.Whether you're strolling through the forests, enjoying a picnic with loved ones, or simply taking in the serenity, the arboretum offers an unforgettable journey into the beauty and importance of our natural world.

Absolutely stunning location & it’s so nice to be surrounded by nature & beautifully landscaped backdrop.It is free entry to the public which is a bonus & parking is $2.20 an hour or $8.80 for the day.Enjoy scenic walks, take your kids to the Pods playground or have a coffee at the cafe to soak in the views. The bonsai garden was a such a beautiful sight to behold.In fact, we went there twice last week & the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it!

A Place for all seasons and a season for any Photographer!If you can handle the cold, early morning shots are exceptionally rewarding, if you have time for the Sunsets (MAKE TIME) you will fall in love with the colours. If you like to walk, ride, fly a kite or simply sit and enjoy the view? Canberra National Arboretum is for you.

Booked a tour guide for me and my family (including 2 elderly) during Easter period. The guides were volunteers but very well informed about the arboretum and gave us so much insight about the place and trees planted there. They were really friendly and I definitely recommend a tour if possible.

A nice place with several trails to hike while enjoying nature and bird watching.I specifically enjoyed the bonsai section next to the information center.We visited autumn, and trees were bare. I imagine this to be a beautiful place in spring or summer.
