Biscione Automotive

One fine day when it was snowing in Aug, our car had a flat tire. It was on a Sunday and most of the mechanic shops were closed including this one. However, when we called Blake, he mentioned he was on his way from Sydney back to Oberon and if we could wait, he would come and fix it. Due to a pretty jam packed weekend rush, he got delayed a bit but we decided to anyway wait the whole time hoping he would turn up while continuously calling him in between checking if they were close. Finally he made it along with Richard and they decided to take us to his shop. Tried the first method, didn’t work out. He kept on trying till he made sure he fixed the car for us to safely reach Sydney. Appreciate his help and his heart to service us so late in the night.

My friends and I had issues with our gear selector in Oberon on NYD, our car was stuck in park and we were stuck. We gave these guys a call with the thought that nowhere would be open. Within 15 minutes the guys arrived, gave a temporary fix so we could drive to their garage around the corner. They then proceeded to recommend somewhere cheap to stay while they looked into it. The next day in the evening our car was returned, with a solid fix and cleaner than we handed it over. Only cost 150$ and considering a NYD callout, helpfulness, speed of the fix and the fix itself was well worth the money. Great guys!

The best and only mechanic that was open on a Saturday. The people at Biscione Automotive instantly got to work to fix our auto. During that time someone drove us into town and recommended some places to see. An hour later our auto was fixed again and we were on our way after that! We are extremely happy with how kind, helpful and efficient the people at Biscione Automotive were and they absolutely made our day! Highly recommend!

Had issues with my clutch on way home to Brisbane, organised tow to Biscione Automotive and Blake, Richard and Rhonda went beyond expectations to get me back on the road. Highly recommend if having issues around Oberon give them a call.Thanks heaps

Let me start by saying If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would! and further to this, I just never leave reviews (ever - this is my first) but Blake and his family delivered a service that was absolutely second to none and rarely found these days. So Google just had to hear about it! After a fantastic day of four wheel driving in the stunning Abercrombie River National Park events took the turn for the worst after a sudden heavy deluge of rain left my 4WD stranded on one of the steepest slopes in a mud bath with a blown main fuse (unknown at this stage) and the car winched to a tree, dead and stuck. With daylight fading and temperatures dropping the decision was made to cancel the nights camping venue, leave the 4WD and make our way back to Oberon in the other 4WD vehicle. Emergency accommodation was found and at approx 7pm on the Saturday after much time on google I called Blake (thinking there would be no answer) only to have him answer the phone, hear my events of the afternoon and be told he would be happy to help if I wanted to pop into the garage at 10am on Sunday morning. That Sunday morning I made my way down to Biscione Automotive to be greeted by a warm smile that turned out to be Blakes father. After some chit chat, mutual connections and stories of travel overseas I purchased what I thought I needed and borrowed some tools and ventured back out to the stranded 4WD. My diagnosis was completely incorrect and in short my day was wasted. At this stage real concerns about the scenario are starting to kick in. I desperately had to be back in Sydney on the Monday for work commitments, the 4WD was literally in the middle of nowhere and access to it was very restricted. I made my way back to Oberon with the rescue team" feeling pretty deflated with as much belongings from the vehicle recovered as possible. I stopped into Blake to hand back some borrowed tools and explain the situation. To my surprise

The absolute worst mechanic. Completely incompetent to the point where not only will they rip you off, charge three times what they should, but perform devastatingly dangerous work risking peoples lives. DO NOT TRUST Biscione Auto. I have never received such disgusting quality of work and service. It's amazing that they are still open in such a small town, don't deserve even one star. Their fake positive reviews shows how easy it is to get your mates to write one. Warn others to not use this exceptionally dodgy mechanic!

I was out at Jenolan Caves for the day when I realised my brake lights were out. I called up Biscione Automotive to check if they could help if I stopped by later in the day and they were very helpful, easy to chat too, and friendly. When I arrived they got straight onto it, went out of their way to fix the issue and sent me on my way with some helpful warnings and advice about looking out for wildlife on the roads. Considering this was about 5pm on a Sunday I was so grateful they were open. Thank you for having my back!
