I was left short by a hire car company not knowing the difference between a child seat and a capsule and needed a quick solution as our son was due the next day. The team at Hire for Baby responded to my enquiry immediately, quoted quickly and were out to install and walk me through the use of the capsule. Amazing service and super easy. Thanks team!

Called up the same day as I had forgotten the pram flying into Melbourne. They were so easy to deal with and lovely to speak to. The pram was ready to go when I arrived (which ended up being a life saver for our trip!) and we had the pram picked up from the hotel.Next time I will ditch the pram on purpose and just hire one!

I had a baby car seat fitted by Ross. His knowledge and experience are exceptional. He took time to to answer my questions and explained every step of the process. I have the peace of mind knowing the car seat is installed correctly thanks to him. On 10/11/2021, Channel 7News reported that up to 50% of child restraints were not fitted correctly and is a major safety concern. I would recommend everyone to get their baby car seat professionally installed. I would also like to thank Robyn for fitting us in. The shop is a treasure trove of expecting mummy and baby products. I spent 20 minutes on the phone to a lady at the call centre who did not understand my request for the shortest in length capsule that hire for baby had available. She did not have the information on length of various brands and only understood me when I said the word “dimension” and said she’d have to see if they were in stock or can be ordered in. No call back.After doing my own research, it’s been over a week where I’ve made numerous calls to find out if the South Melbourne store has a Britax safe and sound capsule or Maxi Cosi City in stock as other models are too large for my car.The lady keeps saying she’ll call me back to confirm and never does. I still don’t have an answer.

This establishment offers 100% quality service. From pick up to drop off they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to assist us and cater for our unusual needs. Their knowledge of both what we needed and the capabilities of their products was extensive. Lovely, lovely people - a pleasure to deal with them

I found the whole experience extremely good. I did not know whet to rent, and the advice offered was excellent and the lady that fit the two seats that I hired was so diligent! And then dropping back to the store could not have been easier. Thanks - great service!

Outstanding service. Ross fitted a newborn car seat into two cars for me, in the pouring rain no less! Also showed me exactly how to work the seat, and fitted it onto and off my pram base as well. Very friendly and wonderful service from Robyn and Ross. Highly recommended.
