Mr Pooch Dog Training and Behaviour

Ist traing session today. Renata gave us lots of great advise and techniques to practice with our new pup.

Renata from Mr. Pooch was very knowledgeable about dog behaviour. My dog Cookie was very dog reactive and used to lunge and bark at other dogs and it was stressful to take her for walks. Renata explained to me why that happens and gave me the skills that I needed to fix the problem. Now Cookie is a pleasure to walk and has no issues with other dogs.

We have a dog reactive human loving German shepherd, in one session Renata got her comfortable with her own dog within close range, she’s done wonders for us and Hendrix, it’s a long road to sort out her anxiety and reactivity but Renata showed us the right techniques to get us started, Renata was patient and gentle. 10/10 would recommend!!

Mr Pooch has helped so much with my dog’s separation anxiety! I couldn’t leave Tilly by himself before, not even for a few minutes. Now he is happy by himself for hours and that gives me so much peace of mind.

Mr Pooch is helping my little dachshund with some reactive issues as well as obedience training. I am only 4 sessions in and have seen such a drastic change he used to bark and lunge at people across the road and now he is fine for people to be 2 metres away. He also is actually starting to listen, bark less inappropriately, and be more behaved with myself and my family members. Also he has some seperation issues and I previously could not leave him by myself for a minute now however tonight I was able to go have a shower without the need for bringing him in the bathroom with me, he was content lying on the couch till I got back. We are still working on some reactiveness towards people less than 2 metres, and dogs and I am excited to see where it will be in another 4 sessions. Thank you so much Harvey loves his training sessions and cried after the last one was over as he was having such a good time and gets on great with the trainer. You guys are a godsend!
