1 star is a stretch! Terrible experience dealing with Tina. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! Information regarding the seller relating to the sale was not disclosed to us during negotiations or prior to signing the contract. We submitted an offer that was accepted. We were very up front about our situation (subject to sale and finance). The owner pull the pin on our contract after we had signed it because we were in the midst of negotiating some new clauses the seller wanted added. Clauses that would mean that the seller could take back her home if she couldn’t go unconditional on her next property! We now believe that there was something super dodgy going on as Tina was so pushy in getting us to sign the contract (almost like she didn’t want us the read it). My husband and I have only ever built in the past, and never purchased an established home, so we told Tina that we were fully guided by her and what steps we should be following. She advised us to do a building and pest inspection (even giving me the details of who to call), before the seller had signed her end of the contract. I’ve since learned that this should not have happened prior to the seller signing her end of the contract. When we confronted Tina about why she advised us to do this, she tried to gaslight us and put the blame back onto us for booking the inspection. The B&P cost us $500, plus all the legal costs going back and forth with the seller’s conveyancer, to have nothing in return. If the actual conditions needed for the seller had been disclosed to us during the original negotiations then we could have saved everyone a lot of wasted time and money! Please do your research before deciding to use this agent. Have a read of their responses to the not so great reviews. I think that tells you a lot about this business. Very unprofessional!
