Colonial Motel and Serviced Apartments

Beautiful apartment home, we stayed in a 2 floor 2 bedroom apartment. Staff were very knowledgeable of the area and were able to make suggestions on places to eat and activities. The place was kid friendly and moderately priced.

Friendly staff who are happy and helpful. Would stay again whenever I visit Young. Rooms clean and comfortable and breakfast was punctual and delicious.

Young Colonial Motel was incredible. Totally exceeded expectations. Linda was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Absolutely love that our Labradoodle was able to stay with us. Probably the best value accommodation we've stayed in a very long time. Highly recommend

When you walk into reception the first contact is the one that makes the difference and the lady who was there was magnificent. She was very helpful and went out of her way to help,us. She moved us into another room on our request without a problem. The room was clean and fresh and bathroom facilities excellent. Both my wife and I agreed best nights sleep we had in ages. Highly recommend this motel and look forward in staying there again.

Look. Do yourself a favour. If you are looking for a clean place to overnight, with very friendly people and close to town, don't look anywhere else but here.We had a two bedroom apartment which was well appointed and mega comfortable.Our aging hound we made nice and comfortable downstairs and all was good.

My husband and I stayed here on our drive up from Melbourne to Brisbane with our cat and small dog. We have done a lot of road trips with our animals, and this was by far the nicest stay we have had.Water pressure for shower is amazing, the owners, Lynda and Andrew are beautiful and kind people, and the motel is a short walk from the best pizza shop.Highly recommend!

This is old school motel hospitality and charm in a modern world. Fresh milk as well as a lovely chat offered on arrival, spotlessly clean rooms, lovely linen and they have fox footy channel for the AFL diehard. They offer room service breakfast and the pantry is stocked with bikkies tea and coffee pods. Lovely spa bath in the king room. Great town, great motel and great hosts. There’s an Aldi across the road and it’s a short walk into town.

Pros-Friendly and accommodating staff.Great location to walk into the Main Street of town.Clean, quiet and very well maintained.Cons-Carpet cleaning starting at 8am on a Sunday morning just next to us - thanks for the wake up call after being at Young hospital until 2amI’m also highly concerned the owners let themselves into my room unbeknownst to me whilst I was out.I’m a medical cannabis patient that had left my prescription jars on the bathroom counter when I left for the day.It’s a legal product, I’m not concerned if people see it.However, when I returned to the property the owner came up to say “I’m not against that stuff but don’t smoke it in the rooms”I had never smoked in the room, so the only logical reason the owner would have even said that too me is after seeing my prescriptions that were located in the bathroomAnd the only way that was visible too them was if they entered my room without my knowledge or consent.
