An incredibly disappointing and heart breaking experience. I wish i had read the reviews on line before choosing to entrust the entire contents of my family home with this man. The cavalier approach to my precious and costly items led to a broken newly restored piano and the contents of my filling cabinet spread across leach highway, mostly collected and hidden in a box .... the cabinet was a complete write off. The incidents were hidden from me until the move was almost complete where the owner of the business requested full payment before the truck was emptyed because of our disappointment. Before the removal of the piano I expressed concern and I was assured firmly that he was quite competent in handling it and that I needn’t worry as he has 35 years of experience . When the damage was addressed the owner tried to shirk the responsibility and redirect it at me.... at no point was there an apology... or acknowledgment of the damage and neither was there an offer of compensation. I have worked in the art handling and museum industry for 20 years and I witnessed every rule broken. Stay away from this hack if you don’t want to spend at least 8 times the amount you payed him to replace your stuff.

What a disappointment!!!!! Owner was very rude and had a massive argument with one of his staff on our drive, damaged and broke several items, moaned and complained none stop and even miss calculated the amount of items we had to move so they ended up leaving some of our belongings at our old house so we had to arrange for someone else to collect them.Not happy at all and definitely won't recommend them.

Thanks Removal Man!!! We had such a tight time line with double settlements occurring and the team were really great, fast and efficient and well priced. Made our move so much easier.

Warning, do not go near this company. All they are interested in is taking your money. They are slow, inept, careless and they overchargeThey carried out our removal on 8th November. In the process, they put a hole in our brand new mattress, badly scratched a dining table and the front door and overcharged us. Wally, the owner, came to see us a week later, tried and failed to repair the scratches and said that he would do something about the mattress. But we've heard nothing from him since. After he failed to reply to two emails, I 'phoned him on Monday 5th February to ask him why he had not replied and what did he plan to do about the damage that he had caused. He was quite flippant and said he was busy. He was not too busy to take our money, but he's too busy to pick up the 'phone to call us.I told him that I would prefer to settle this between us, but he made no offer to put things right. I said that if he did not respond within 7 days I would take legal action. He said I could do whatever I liked. I then confirmed all this in an email which got no response. I have since taken legal advice and will start proceedings against him this week.I shall also be reporting him to the Advertising Standards Bureau because his website is misleading.The workers were slow and inept. One turned up with an injured foot, which explained why he was so slow. An existing wound opened up, which bled all over our floor, and he had to be replaced, which caused a delay. They could not start the truck which caused another delay.When we arrived at the new house I had to show one of them how to fit a chair through the doorway. They were putting furniture together to 'help' us. All they were doing was stretching the hourly rate out. We were given a discount for the delays, but later realised that it was not enough.Moving house is difficult, stressful and expensive at the best of times. Removal Man made the experience much worse, and we still have to go to the all the trouble to get compensation for our damaged furniture.

All round horrific experience. Well this place may mention it is a family business going for 30 years. Maybe it deals well with corporate clients. I experienced lies, stealing (as minor property was not returned to me when the staff member has promised to pay money for a few items) management cover ups, loss of 3 boxes and return of phone calls did not occur. I was not chasing money for the lost boxes I wanted them to be returned to me. I needed to ring them and struggle to get a word in edgeways... Care factor was nil by management. So I would not trust anything that comes from this removalist...and the person doing some minor packing for me spent more time checking out (in my opinion) what he could take instead of working. In actual fact management seems to believe this staff member who told quite a few lies rather than a customer who had really nothing to gain by reporting this staff member. This staff member involved packed one box of breakables....and quite a few items broke. I packed countless boxes of breakables not one item broke. Bordering on criminal behaviour. Management told me the staff member is no longer employed there...Another lie. The missing boxes (at least 3 boxes) I believe are in retaliation to me following up a few items that were not paid for. Do not trust this organisation to pack or actually tell you the truth if anything goes wrong. Nett loss to be would be around $1500 if you could buy the missing items..however items were vintage and some were of huge sentimental value. NO INTEGRITY AT ALL. 24 hour monitoring of all items...mmmm how does 3 or more boxes go missing..be warned!! To think I gave each removalist a free bottle of good wine...
