The Purple Emerald Lounge Bar
My partner and I hosted our 21st Birthday party here. Owner Phil and Manager Mesi were absolutely awesome. They both provided us with a private courtyard, transparency, and exceptional service on the night! We were also given complimentary birthday shots which made our experience an even better one. We will definitely be back to host another event in the near future. Thank you again for making our birthday one to remember!

Small place. Good for an intimate wedding gathering.You won't feel rushed, and rarely struggle to find seating. The staff are very approachable.

Absolutely beautiful function space (intimate with great ambience). The food was unmemorable and came out a bit slowly. Perfect for an after-dinner event.

I gave this one star review because one of the security guys at the door was needlessly aggressive. Re: the business' response to my review, I was not vaping inside and I think you have assumed I'm somebody else who was? I'll give the benefit of the doubt that this is an honest case of mistaken identity and not just fabricated to discredit and shame me into removing my review.

I've run several family friendly performance events at The Purple Emerald over the past 18 months. Phil and his team always go above and beyond to ensure the events run smoothly, and are always happy to assist with anything we need. The performers and guests love the delicious food and tasty cocktails (soft drinks for kids of course)! Thanks Phil for supporting Melbourne creatives and for always taking care of the Sing Space family. Looking forward to our next event!

Booked out the sundeck for my 30th birthday. Phil was super responsive and great to deal with. Venue was super comfortable and pretty! The roof and outdoor heating kept us all very comfortable on a rainy Melbourne day. Everyone had a great time - 100% would recommend!

Slightly rustic vibe. Cocktails have a Latino influence, with a retro twist. Outdoor area is a little run-down but has its charms.
