Excellent, best off grid camping in Tennant Creek. Had the whole place to ourselves. Station caretaker comes up in the afternoon to check you in and for a chat

Fantastic spot, 4 kms from Tennant Creek, on a huge cattle station. Felt very safe here. Did the 3 for 2 deal and paid $40, town water, fire pits and a dunny"(nup toot paper)

Spinifex Ridge Farm Stay
Good bush camp west of Tennant Creek, easily accessed on mostly sealed road, a short drive out of town. Town water is available on the van site. There is also a long drop toilet but it was a bit ripe, no loo roll or sawdust to sanitise the pit. Given that best for fully self contained vans. It was very hot when we visited too so a generator to run air conditioning would be helpful. Generators are allowed as are fires in pits too. Dog friendly.

Loved the quiet-no amenities except for a drop toilet but the peaceful, safe environment is a perfect spot close to Tennant Creek. Thanks

This FARM STAY is about as FAR OUTBACK as you can GET! The DRIVE just to pull into the DRIVEWAY will have you DODGING kANGARoos and EMUs the whole way! But when you STEP OUT of your CAR, you'll be GREETED by the FRIENDLIEST COWS, SHEEP and GOATS you ever DID see. The SLEEPAROO accOMMODATIONS are BASIC but the VIEW of the SUNSET over SPINIFEX hills is PRICELESS. The FARMER WHO RUNS this PLACE will regale you with YARNS over the TASTIEST MEALS this side of the OUTBACK! So forget your CITY STRESS and embrace FLAT OUT COUNTRY LIVING at Spinifex Ridge Farm Stay.

This is a great place. Whilst just a basic camp site it's nice and quiet, short walks for beautiful views and the owners are great people that love a yarn. We stayed June 2021 and can't recommend this place enough if your looking for a safe quiet place to overnight.

Left 3 messages on the phone plus sent them an email but no reply Then rang Tennant Creek visitors centre but they only had the phone no that we had left messages on.Gave up and want elsewhere
