Horrible. You get zero support. Staff never reply to emails or calls. Very disorganised. When you do finish your qualification you can't even get a hard copy of your certificate.

Would not recommend studying online. The website is terrible, couldnt log in for 2 weeks at one point. They really arent interested in helping and you cant study at your own pace as they lock all the modules away so if you get stuck at a point you cant skip it and figure it out later, when trying to resolve an issue they just mentioned they can help me file a compliant or withdrawl but nothing to help the problem.The mentors are good from my experience but the website is so terrible i couldnt even contact one of my mentors. I had to call the school and get his email just to send a single email.

I would not recommend anyone to study at Swinburne online. All the tools and websites are tedious and difficult to navigate. I submitted a request to defer a semester and their website is so trash it didn’t go through on their end even though I received a confirmation screen. Now I’ve been charged for an additional semester and uni won’t give me my money or grades back. I honestly think it’s not worth it. Wish I went somewhere else.

I visit Swinburne as a examiner, was ok for the first visit locations good.As I can see overall wonderful people's over there.Next visit after 3 weeks I will update for good .

UPDATE BELOW: I have never spent so much time and frustration to simply enrol. The canvas doesn't work. After 25min on hold the phone disconnects. Or if you finally get through, they don't help and redirect you to another line and you're back on hold for 25min and again disconnects. If I knew how terrible this was I would not enrol here. This has been the most painstaking process, nothing is organised everything is done backwards. I feel miserable and disillusioned.UPDATE. THEY CANCELLED MY COURSE 2 WEEKS BEFORE START DATE WITH AN EMAIL SAYING ITS FULL AFTER I HAD FINALLY ENROLLED INTO CLASSES. HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE OR ALLOWED? DON'T SUPPORT THIS UNIVERSITY. GO ELSEWHERE. THIS IS SO UNJUST

Great tuition quality and conveniently located to many range of food options. They also have great study areas and had a wide range of services for students such as counselling and academic support. Lecturers and teachers are also helpful in ensuring more success with grades and your future after graduations.However, I do not recommended if you plan to make lifelong friends and feel like a single community, as Swinburne is significantly smaller than most major institutions like Melbourne University or Monash.

I'd give it zero if I could, for online students the service have gone downhill. It's to a point where I cannot login to my accounts and I can't find a person to help reset and catch up... I'm 8 weeks into a semester and I've had little to no access to emails, MS office or the texts I need. Yes, the LMS is ok, but if there's ever an IT issue you cannot find a person who can help you.

Swinburne University has a great civil engineering course. The subjects are developed with assistance from industry making them all very relevant. In addition to their helpful teaching staff which often go out of their way to assist students with their issues makes for a great university. I would highly recommend Swinburne. I should also mention that the photos taken are of the Hawthorn campus.
