Lord Uke

So, this review has a story. I'm was out of town, visiting Melbourne, and was always keen on visiting Lord Uke. I've owned two, lower end, ukuleles before, and I wanted to know the difference between laminate and solid wood. Denis was welcoming, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with the wide selection (and range of prices). I was honest with my price limit, and he offered several models for me to try. I absolutely fell in love with a ukulele there and he gave me a great deal. Now the guys didn't need to do that, or do anything above and beyond considering that it was close to the end of the day. But they did, and it reminded me that real service still exists in the modern world.If you want to know the difference between an online seller and a real music store, then come and visit. The staff knew their stuff, weren't pushy and were genuinely interested in giving good advice and service. I now have an instrument for life, and a great story. Thank you Dennis and the team for such a wonderful experience.

Amazing service here by Aaron. He took incredible care of my guitar, offered me great deals and was extremely knowledgeable about which guitar to pick. Aaron really took the time to tell me about all the guitars in store and play with them to pick the right one! Awesome store ;)

I just purchased a uke from Justin and he was super helpful! I told him my budget and what I wanted to do with it and he showed me a few and helped me pick one out. Great shop, 10/10 recommend!

Great shop that has some really helpful staff.They're due to move a couple of stores up by the end of July and for now have a great 25% off sale.Highly recommend, bought my first Uke here with no pushy sales, just friendly advice.

I have bought two ukuleles from here and each time found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. There is a great selection on offer and both of my instruments have been excellent.

They're awesome. Fab service, good teaching, really cool, down to earth, knowledgable and helpful team with lots of cool gear in there. Let me name the ways they are so people first:1. I asked if I could buy a string and they suggested I just supply my own string from my shoe! Ka-Ching for me.2. I swapped a small guitar case for a big one from them.3. I swapped a small uke not even from them for a larger one (just paid the small difference).4. I trust their advice implicitly.And they sound so talented strumming and picking music as they chat to you (which is somehow not at all pretentious or rude). I mean, they're that place that is lowcool brilliant.
