Auction Club

Still almost 1 year later - no response, no contact, no action. These guys (in writing) advised that they would rectify 1 of the defects - missing seatbelt covers, and absolutely ZERO contact or action.Stay away!!!Zero stars if possible.I am reluctant to post a review, however, I am forced to resort to this due to the lack of a reply from the company following several emails.I purchased a car with these guys, there were issues in evidence from Day 1, I took it to my mechanic, who repaired the first of many issues, and advised that he did not believe that the car should have passed RWC.I checked my paperwork supplied by the company, no RWC. I then received a RWC AFTER I had taken the car away, RWC done without car being present. Dodgy to say the very least.Do not use these guys, they are not interested in providing a service for the fee you pay, not honouring the warranty.Almost 1 Year on and still chasing these guysCrooks. Poor customer service.

I have been reading lots of reviews about Auction Club and it seems that in most cases, they try to make amends if something has happened in the process of buying a vehicle and I notice that some of the complainants have not replied to resolve the matter even though Auction Club is trying to do so.I am in Central Queensland had been looking for a particular vehicle for some time and contacted Auction Club to see what their business actually did. I was duly contacted by Max who explained the process and the costs involved ($660). I agreed and paid the money and was sent some information by Max on some vehicles that might suit me. One in particular I had already been looking at in Sydney, vehicles are generally cheaper interstate. It just so happened that I had a brother-in-law who lived very close to the wholesaler where the car was situated. I asked him to have a look at it for me and also contacted the wholesaler direct who told me that they also had another vehicle that I might be interested in. The day after that Thomas sent me information on the same vehicle so I had my brother-in-law have a look at both of them at the same time. The next day was Saturday so I contacted the wholesaler direct and negotiated a price and bought the vehicle. It was unregistered but had gone through a NSW inspection. My plan was for my wife and I to fly to Sydney, visit my brother-in-law and drive the vehicle back to Central Queensland on an unregistered vehicle permit. I contacted Tom on the Monday morning and told him what had happened and he said that I had paid a fee for service and that as a dealer he maybe could assist as I had made the payment to them. He registered the car for me so that I could insure it and drive it back from Sydney then transfer it into my name when I got home. This was extremely good of him and saved me the problem of driving a car on a permit with no plates ( saving dramas with Police Tolls etc). I know that this is a bit long winded but I just wanted to let people know that as far as my deal goes, Auction Club have been terrific.

I strongly urge you not to use this business.To Sum up in a few words about my experienceWe engaged this business to purchase a work vehicle and organise delivery to our town in Qld recently. We were quite particular about the vehicle we were after and at first, we were happy with the service we were getting until we officially signed up with them. Once we did it went downhill from there. We ended up getting far better prices direct with the people advertising and telling them about the vehicles to pursue. While we began to question how much they really advocate for their clients and really try to secure the best deal however continued with their service due to the convenience" of having them facilitate the sale

Watch out for an episode on ACA about these guys because that's where I'm going next! Auction Club is the most uncontactable and unreliable company I have ever come across. Every single person who works there is dodgy and just out for your money. They are absolutely pathetic and provide zero resolutions. I've had issue after issue.They sold me a BMW that needed an O2 sensor replaced (which they said they would do as it was an easy fix)... But the issues with this car have been drastic. After paying almost $10K for this car, it took them over 2 WEEKS of me hounding them to even pick it up. It had a damaged back bumper which was not in any report (they said they would fix this and surprise... Still has not been done). As soon as I drove the car home, the engine light came on and after ringing and emailing several times, it was days later before they responded and told me to go to my own mechanic to get it fixed which they would supposedly reimburse. Because apparently they thought" the sensor had been replaced but it hasn't. Turns out there was nothing to do with a sensor... It was a $1K part that was needed and so they told me they would get their own mechanic to do it for cheaper.They took their sweet time getting a repairer for it after I complained about it going into limp mode and being unable to use it after driving around for about a week. I finally got the car back after the 'repairs' and they told me "the engine light is still on

Do NOT use these guys, I paid their fee, and was sent cars with rust and other issues, I had a limited budget which I was upfront about, and they kept sending me cars out of my range.I found a car and asked them to negotiate the price, and was called back and told they wouldn't negotiate, so I then called the auction house and they were happy to negotiate a price. Did you even call?I then needed the warranty that states on their website is for 12 months with EVERY" car purchased through them

I dealt with Max and then Jordan, both very friendly and helpful. I told them what i car i wanted and they did all the leg work for me.As for the bad reviews i was sceptical at first but i gotta say any concerns or questions i had they answered and made sure i was happy with everything. You press the button on whether you go ahead or not and they tell everything about the car and they were honest with me with few scuff marks on the car they even took pictures of em so i could see, i buffed out the marks anyways. They tell everything about the car before you want to go ahead or not. So for the bad reviews that got bad cars its kind of their own fault as its up to you if you want to get the car or not. NOTE: Ask questions if your warred,concern,sceptical they will answer and go above and beyond for you. I'am happy with my VW Golf no problems with it.

Max was lovely and Josh was absolutely amazing. He was in touch constantly keeping me updated on the process and kept providing different options if I wasnt completely sold on the last one. I've had my car for about 3 weeks now and loving it. They do such a great job!

I was dealing with Max Mutch from Auction Club and his service was outstanding! Always checking in that I was happy with how things were going and being flexible with whatever I needed. He made 110% effort to find me the type of car I wanted, sending me multiple to choose from which all were perfect! Will definitely recommend both him and this company to everyone.

Unfortunately I took these 2 Men to their word when I wanted a cheap but reliable Hyundai 2009 Tuson. I was told the car ( as viewed in the inspection report ) Tyres - Front 80% rear good; service books and keys - yes; small scratches , requires detailing; diagnostic report - clear /No Faults; Drives well; Good service history !In fact when I received the car it was parked in the sun light so I did not notice the scratches - some one had gone along the R.H. side of the car i suspect a sharp key scratched all panels including the engine bonnet on the drivers side. It cannot be Detailed out !.The finished result i had costs of $6

I posted a car ad on gumtree and have been receiving messages from a Josh Saunders.I told him I was currently at work and unable to chat, so i could only reply via txt or email.He said he wanted to purchase my car (located in Perth) and have it transported to Brisbane via truck. He went on to say he is a buying agent for Auction club. He offered a deposit and the rest at the end of the week.Now what 'professional' In their right mind would purchase a car from another state without viewing, let alone putting a deposit down???Whether he is a genuine buyers agent or not, I told him I am not interested in having it transported and told him I won't be replying any further. I have since been receiving multiple harassing phone calls. I have blocked his number and he still tries to call.Very unprofessional- learn how to take no for an answer!
