Very bad service, the guy in the shop so rude, and don’t let us talk, just try to kick us out of the door . It was a shame to be there. Please do not go !

1 - Their price is the best in the area. Book early then you will get the best price. If you change the schedule later, they are not going to charge extra if let them know in advance. This happened to my case.2 - The car quality is good, mechanic no issue, clean inside and outside, no bad smell.I run from Melbourne to Sydney without any problem.Tyres, brakes are good condition. Windscreen fluid is top of level, i used much but it is still not empty end of the trip.Their fuel level is max full level ( over full level indication) when they handed the car to me. I filled full like that when i returned :).3 - Their service is excellent, fast, friendly, professional, details and full of guidance to let you familiar with the car.Thank you very much Avis team.

Awesome service and really friendly team. Gave us a upgrade when they saw we could be uncomfortable on our journey in a smaller car.

Hired a moving truck, saved time by using a WebLink for my details. Two staff attended to us, one at check in and another went around the truck with us. Both made sure we understood the conditions of hire and the use of the truck. The only thing missed was how to turn on the light in the back.Overall I would recommend this depot to deal with

Heads up, this is a long review describing a real issue that could happen if you're looking for a last minute rental!!After having two other car rental businesses advise us that they didn't have our specific vehicle available for rental, we ended up finding Avis along the way. Apart from the ridiculous and disappointing experience of attempting to book online at the other two very known rental car companies, I am extremely grateful to have found Avis!They were very friendly as we approached the business reception and immediately advised us that our required vehicle was available. The gentleman that was also at the cashier kindly helped us make the most affordable option which he didn't have to do.Whenever a sales rep does this, it takes the service to the next level in my opinion and these are the reasons why I return to their business and go out of my way to review them with top ratings.The entire process took less than 5mins to organise and they weren't pushy when we were running late to collect and return the vehicle.The fees came out cheaper than the 2 other places we had found online including petrol per KMs which saved us $150 in petrol. Everything was smoothly completed including bond payment and final settlement of fees on return of the rental.The top 3 pros renting from Avis Blackburn are, l1. Helpful and friendly staff and fast and easy booking process2. Most affordable in costs and fees3. Most informative and easiest to organise your rental booking.If I had known about Avis prior to deciding on a service, I would have made a call or drive directly to Blackburn Avis, rather than select the first 2 businesses that appeared in my Google search (which were two of the top known companies worldwide).If I have to give advice to anyone booking a rental, please call up and ensure they have your specific vehicle available. Especially if you're booking last minute as these two other places 1. Called up an hour before our booking to advise us that they had no availability, despite their website allowing us to make a successful booking! 2. Once we arrived at the reception desk, the sales rep stated there were no availabilities for our specific vehicle and walked off with another employee to sort out a seperate issue (I found that extremely rude).Both businesses didn't even ask to offer any backup suggestions nor acknowledged they were at fault or apologies.Thank you Avis Blackburn!

Generally I had a very pleasant, trouble-free rental and return experience here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Like all vehicle rental companies; they could do better to explain the exact details of the credit card/driver requirements.

I have been hiring vehicles from Avis Blackburn for a number of years. Tony and the team are always a pleasure to deal with; a rarity, it appears, in the car hire business. Friendly and professional customer service and efficient with pick up / drop off. Appreciate their approach and will always recommend to friends and colleagues.

I rented a hi top van to move my son back home. 1 x bedroom full + misc furniture and musical instruments. Avis advised the van could do it. So it did in 2 x moves, only moving a short distance. We got 100klms free,but only used about 50klms. We brought it back the same day. So only 1 x day rental needed. Van was clean. They lent me 5 x ropes. All i did was top up the fuel before returning the van. Everything was easy. Will use use them again.
