Richard helped our baby daughter (who was 4 months old at her first visit) with her neck and postural asymmetry, limited range of motion and discomfort more than I could have ever expected. He is pleasant, professional, and very thorough and specific in his assessment and treatment. There was a noticable improvement after the first visit and within weeks she was a different baby. Seeing our girl happier, straighter and more relaxed has brought us such relief and joy, we are so grateful to Richard and I highly recommend that any parent of a baby with similar issues book in to see him. Renae and Wendy at the front desk are also very pleasant.

We couldn't be more pleased with the wonderful little team at Sure Start Chiropractic! Once you try Sure Start Chiropractic, you will never go to another chiropractor again. Richard is so thorough with his assessment, examination and adjustments. I've been to several other chiropractors and none of them do what Richard does, none of them are as thorough as him! After one treatment with Richard my two-month old daughter slept peacefully in the car on the five-minute drive home - the first time she had ever done so (even on much longer drives). That was five years ago, and since then our whole family has benefited greatly from Richard's knowledge, expertise and skill. I had had upper back pain for more than fifteen years that had not responded to other treatments (physio, pilates, rolfing, bowen, Feldenkrais - I'd tried them all) - and quarterly sessions with Richard has literally seen all back pain disappear. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Our son initially went to Sure Start at just over 8 weeks, the first impression we got of Richard from Sure Start was his great demeanour and calming nature, especially with the children. Our son seemed so relaxed and at ease, even when being put in positions quite foreign to him at the time. Richard was very thorough and upfront about what the issue may be, what he could improve on, what would work out with time and what work needed to be done on our side with exercises. Sure Start has been a god send for everyone in our family and we would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a child with any chiropractic issues!

At first, I am reluctant going to a chiropractor because of the horrible stories I have heard. But Richard proved me otherwise! Richard really listened to me and understood my health requirements and worked out with how to make me better. The exercises we've done really made me confident in doing everyday work and stuff. For sure it made me feel well! Good job and keep it up!

Sought treatment for our 6-7 month old as she was holding her head to one side and had quite flat head on the back to the other side.Somewhat sceptical to start (who isn’t with their little baby), but Richard was very knowledgeable and gave excellent explanations so I felt she was in safe hands from start to finish. So grateful to feel proactive again! Highly recommended.
