Darren and the boys undertook a mammoth job in repainting the interior of my house after another Canberra painter did such a poor job that the paint had to be stripped, repairs made, preparation like sanding and undercoating done, then the whole house repainted.Darren kept me informed at all stages of the process, was punctual and very well organised and performed the work to a high standard as well as cleaned up each day do we were able to stay living in the house.I have learned a lot about painting since contracting the first painters. Most importantly painters do not have to be licensed in the ACT so it is to your benefit to choose a painter who is a member of the Master Painters Association which Darren is. This affords you protection should anything go wrong and these painters are no more expensive than the cowboys I originally employed.I cannot recommend DJ Hearn Painters highly enough - professional, courteous, punctual and competitively priced.

Darren and his team were truly one of the best tradespersons to have ever worked for us. He was incredibly polite, respectful and fast with his quote and fit us into his schedule when we really needed someone. Everyone was respectful of the house and they took the time to work out exactly what we needed and even provided some recommendations which look absolutely great!We could not recommend Darren enough. He was in and out, with no concerns, dramas or hassles. A full internal repaint in a week and we cannot find a single flaw! The house needed a lot of work done as there were holes in walls, water damage and lots of damage to timber framing/doors. Darren offered to fix the timber paneling in our hallway which had been damaged by water and movement of the house. We didn't know if we were going to keep or replace it, but this saved us so much time and money - and they now look amazing! He even left paint for touch-ups, which were labelled, meaning we know exactly what goes where should we need to repaint in the future.
